File this under screaming for attention.

I've said I hate the way Kiper moves guys tremendously in a month when no football is played and he has long since studied these guys.
His fan boys cry that he never does such a thing.
Would never for instance move Bridgewater from pick 5 in mock 3.0 in March to round 2 in mock 4.0 in April.....

Love that Mel has a passion for evaluating players, hate that he feels he needs to entertain with extreme takes and bounce around so that's he's covered every angle before the draft.
If Bridgewater goes top 10 he's covered. If he falls to round 2 he's covered. Convenient, right???

As to the Dallas picks: Good grief.
Martin is a solid OL prospect with value as a plug and play guy. Lacks elite upside.
Go a lot of Travis Frederick to his game. Issue is he may not be able to beat anyone out as a rookie here.
But with all those defensive guys on the board Dallas takes a RG/RT??
Dallas needs interior OT help pretty badly but they have 4 NFL OTs they like rather a lot.
The only thing that makes any sense is the trade down possibility mentioned.
SS in round 2? Huh? They have a far better Safety staring at them in r1.
A guy who goes all of one pick later.

Hit and miss, Kiper get's some and some he does not. But I like to see and hear his take on players.

I'm not a huge fan of Kiper, but I do like to read his takes. He is not Joel Buchsbaum but he is usually not too far off the mark.

His opinions swing wildly sometimes and like jterrell mentioned, it is almost like he's trying to cover all his bases.

Still, I appreciate this being posted so all of us "experts" can pick it apart.

Does anyone know if ESPN is going to have a special for the draft with Kiper for an hour or two in the next couple weeks?
