He's a class act. I remember his post game comments after a tough loss against the Saints in 2010. No spin, he flat out said the loss hurts.

Nice gesture from Kitna. I'm sure he'll be more than welcomed back when he gets home.

Don't donate all of it. He still needs to pay taxes (30%), his agent (20%), 401K, TDA, etc, etc. The school will be lucky to get 40% of it. ha ha

Agents in the NFL do not make 20% thankfully, 3% is the max

And he will write that off on his 1040.

The school is a trip, it's Stadium HS in Tacoma WA the Football field is a bowl with bleachers made out of concrete and a view of the Bay when you sit up high. My sons Club Soccer Team used it for their home games. Google Stadium HS it's an awesome building but yes it's a tough school, he was a great addition to that school and he could have easily gone to Curtis (by his house) where they are one of the top HS in the area

So much for the theories here yesterday that he was motivated to do this just for the money.

I know that was tongue-n-cheek, but I do bet he donates the full amount.

Perhaps this will shut the clowns up that prematurely slobbered all over the board with their drivel around his motivation to fill the 3rd QB spot. As I noted when he signed, class guy. This confirms it. Good for him and good for that high school. They have a great employee.
