I know it's totally unrealistic, but for some reason this story reminded me of the movie Cinderella Man. If you don't know it, it's the true story of this New Jersey boxer (played by Russell Crowe) who was a mediocre boxer in his prime, but in his twilight years he became world champion. He was old, washed up, and desperate to provide for his family during the Great Depression. I had a dream last night that Kitna won the Super Bowl. Then I envisioned the making of a movie starring Kitna--a washed up 41 year old high school math teacher, struggling to help this inner-city school, he decides to lend a favor to his old team who just lost their star QB. He hopes not to play a snap, but Orton goes down and Kitna must step up. He goes on to win the next 5 games to clinch Dallas' 6th Super Bowl. He goes back to the high school and gives some inspirational speech about how you should never give up on your dreams. Then, right before the credits roll, text shows up on the screen saying what all the students are up to now. "Rodrigo turned his life around, graduated from high school, got an athletic scholarship to University of Washington, and led the Pac 12 in rushing."
