Any observation from yesterday's game? No penalties by either of them. Doesn't appear that the Giants 2 sacks are attributed to him. On Zeke's first TD, Steele had a good block. Not trying to be unrealistic, but I do believe they can only get better with experience.

Darkhound, thats why Im asking the question. Not trying to fool myself and say we will be fine with them starting . These guys are pressed into duty, and that ain't gonna change. Love it or hate it, they are the starters, just asking for observations.

Knight has played well. I would like to see Steele against better competition before I get excited. That being said Dallas needs to get back to running the football moving the chains and keeping the defense off the field. Keep the down and distance short for Dalton. Dalton starts throwing 50 times a game you are going to see a turnovers.

I posted Saturday that the keys to team improvement were these two Tackles playing at least average and the defense gelling with more reps. I thought they were both OK, which is really all we need. They played average against an average defense, which is great for 5th string players.

The good news is that both guys are young and getting valuable playing time. Not sure if they are stars in the making but at least could be solid depth guys.

I'll just say we absolutely cannot afford to lose #70.

Saw him helping out Biadasz and Steele big time yesterday in the run game.

At this point, probably the single most important player on the team that's healthy.

Knight is proving to be a great find. This highlights more concern for the coaches.

They didn't like Knight going into the season. They don't like McGovern either.

They were obviously wrong about Knight. Are they wrong about McGovern, too?

They will be in trouble when they face some of the better pass rushers. But they did ok against a mediocre defense and that's all you can expect from some really young undrafted guys.

So I don't follow the Giants and I know their offense sucks......how is their defense? Its tough to use stats to gauge them because their offense is so bad that teams aren't forced to really air the football out against them.

Giants don't have good edge players. There will be trouble against a team that does.
