Having to kick a last-second field goal to win?

But how is that on the 2 tackles? The O didn't really struggle all that much. There was a pick 6, a fumble giving the Giants the ball inside the 20 and a FG due to 12 men on the field. The O scored 30 points yesterday. Including 10 after the QB 1 went down.

The tackles are not great players but they played pretty well yesterday. But the Giants doesn't really have a stout front 7. We will learn more about them in the coming weeks.

The only issue we are having is turnovers. We gave the Giants 14 points. The O is not struggling in any way, shape or form. In 5 games we surpassed 30 points 4 times. We have had 6 100 yard receiving games.

This is not a struggling offense.

I'll just say we absolutely cannot afford to lose #70.

Saw him helping out Biadasz and Steele big time yesterday in the run game.

At this point, probably the single most important player on the team that's healthy.

Just to think some fans/posters wanna move him outside. As stated in another thread, his best value for the OLine AND team is to stay inside.

I didn't realize the thread I was responding to and thought it quote meant the team as a whole which we did struggle. That being said, turnovers have been an issue all season and part of that has been due to strip sacks attributed to the tackle play. The tackles did play pretty well today but the Giants defensive ends aren't good. The offense is basically going to have to be perfect the way the defense has been playing.

The Giants are better in the interior than on the edge but I think generally Zack Martin would be best used at tackle unless we get someone better than Steele.

Obviously the coaches were thinking the same (keep Martin at RG) when we saw Steele in the starting lineup yesterday. Even from the beginning of the season, I guess the coaching staff they must have saw something in Steele, because Erving wasn't the starting RT. Of course that decision had some risks considering there was no preseason, the coaches could only base what they saw in the limited team practices.

He's hasn't played T since college. I'm sure he can but at what level. I mean he may be a good/solid tackle but we KNOW he's an ALL-Pro guard. As someone mention in another thread, too many changes on the unit already. JMO.....

The line as a whole was much better engaging at the LOS. They struggled a bit early in pass protection though they were much better in the second half. The two positives, outside of actually winning the game yesterday, were the play of both lines at the LOS. We stopped the run much better yesterday and and ran the ball much better yesterday.

The D gave up 20 points yesterday. Put the other 14 on the 0. Our offense is literally scoring for both teams in every game.

The giants are 5th in defense.....their issue is offense....

their offense is as historically bad as our defense.......if their offense was middle of the pack they would be 5-0

both tackles played well in the running game and decent in the passing game

May have caught a break with Chandler Jones injuring his biceps yesterday.

Any observation from yesterday's game? No penalties by either of them. Doesn't appear that the Giants 2 sacks are attributed to him. On Zeke's first TD, Steele had a good block. Not trying to be unrealistic, but I do believe they can only get better with experience.

Overall did well for the circumstances.

Your moniker brings back memories...Mr Pozderac had all the tools...but man...those false starts always seemingly at the worst possible time.

Go Cowboys!
