A new head coach doesn't mean that Richards is expendable especially showing he's a helluva coach. He could be kept on by the new coach. It happens more than you think especially when it's a star coordinator.

You'll have to show me numbers to support that claim.

Took me awhile, but here is the link for the 4th down attempt stats:

http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/downs

They've gone for it 6 times this year, converting 4. There are 4 teams that have gone for it 7 times this year.

Last year, they attempted 19 times, converting 10 (52.6%). There were 7 teams that attempted more, Green Bay the most with 28, converting 15 (53.6%).

They only went for it on 4th 9 times in 2016, converting 8. That put them tied for 29th in the league. The obvious reason is they were not behind much and having to go for it to salvage a game.

They were tied for 8th most in 2015.

Oh boy. Is this guy the new Sanjay Lal?

There’s no dilemma. When you clean house, you bring in a new offensives mastermind to be head coach. Richard can interview for defensive coordinator if he wants.
