Kudos to Colombo and the OL

Gurode, Davis and Colombo need to be replaced if this team is going to get better. Seems like every time Gurode has a penalty it is at the worse possible time. Its been like this with him since we drafted him. Id like to see what Costa and Holland can do.

We have so many dumb players it's not even funny. I'm actually speechless.

This is what me and a few others were saying all off-season.

Yet a lot of people were convinced that all we needed to do was put Free at LT and somehow his greatness would rub off on the rest of the O-line.

Seems to me this entire organization is just too dumb. The offensive line is so dumb and Houck is outdated that he can't coach them up to identify the proper blitzes and protection schemes. The defense is so dumb that Wade can't devise aggressive schemes to confuse the opposing offense so we play a vanilla defense.

Both sides of the ball are based on "beating your man" and in today's NFL...that isn't going to get you far.

I have been on board with replacing Davis for a while, but I have grown tired of watching Gurode kill drives during key parts of the game with stupid penalties.

I'm glad I was dead wrong with Marc Colombo being able to return to form. I hope he can make it through a full season, but I'm so thrilled that Romo's only been sacked once so far (1st in the NFL).

Doug Free is our left tackle of the future

Kyle Kosier is the brains of the OL and one of the most athletic, if not the most athletic

Andre Gurode has never been elite but he's been steady for the past 4 years and has improved his shotgun snaps

Leonard Davis has his flaws at this stage in his career but he's still above average than most interior linemen in the NFL

Marc Colombo is the attitude and nastiness of the OL which was sorely missed in the Washington game, congrats on a successful comeback (knock on wood)

Keep it goin', boys! :starspin

Dude how do you feel today after watching the game....

I feel spooked. Just when I start to buy into the team, they turn a complete 180. The team is a reflection of the ownership and coaching staff.

We have great players at the skill positions, but below average offensive linemen that doesn't give Romo enough time to spread the ball to those weapons. That's on Jerry. He's done such a poor job of drafting offensive linemen and we're paying for it right now.

The penalties are a combination of Wade and the players, but mostly Wade. Why do you commit penalties? Because you're not mentally focused and you forget your fundamentals. That could be just getting beat, not using proper technique, etc. We need a head coach that really focuses on the fundamentals on both sides of the ball. Wade is too dumb to focus on these IMO.

Mental focus is a real problem on this team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. We have Scandrick and Jenkins who constantly give up important plays and miss crucial tackles. We have poor safeties that aren't playmakers and will occasionally give up plays. We don't have enough playmakers on defense. I'll go through the starters:

Alan Ball: I said from the beginning we should have brought Atogwe in. Ball should not be starting on any team. He's a downgrade from Ken Hamlin.

Sensabaugh: Steady but doesn't make any plays. You need big plays from your safeties. When was the last time he made a big play, if ever?

Newman: Solid

Jenkins: Inconsistent and cocky. Had a horrific game today.

Scandrick: Nothing more than a 4th CB. Gives up too many plays and doesn't make enough plays.

Olshansky: Steady

Ratliff: Solid

Spears: Solid

Brooking: On the downside of his career, doesn't cause any turnovers

Bradie James: Steady but doesn't make any big plays. Hasn't had an INT since Vince Young's first start in 2006. Pathetic for an ILB in a 34 defense.

Ware: Solid

Spencer: Steady but way too inconsistent right now.
