I'm excited about the win. However, I think it's good to be classy, and I want to give kudos to DeVito. The Giants QB performed admirably for his first start given his situation and given that he was up against our defence.
Yeah, and he struggled with the same problem Jones had. Plus our defensive backfield knows they want to pass it quick, and are waiting to jump the short routes. But he did not look terrible considering the situation. Bad is like what we saw in the Carolina Bears game. This kid played ok considering.

Exactly, he played a solid game all things considered.

I graduated high school with his dad. Was very excited for them. He had zero chance to succeed yesterday. But even after getting beat-up all day he never got happy feet or looked rattled. Just hoping he can turn his opportunity into a career in the league.

That had to be cool, and it looks like it was fun for them to see their kid playing NFL Football. I hope he can turn his opportunity into a career as well. If nothing else, he might be able to replace Zach Wilson. He wouldn't be a bad option for the Jets.

I think they should have let him pass against the Jets, because he's not as bad as what I thought he was. But I understand why Daboll ran 12 plays and called 3 timeouts inside the 2 minute warning. He took a lot of heat over that. They're killing him for it. He did it to give the young QB a little confidence.

I agree. He showed some good poise in the pocket against us.

Naw I can’t do that. He stunk in college and stinks in the pros I just assumed this was their version of tanking. He did nothing well though he did get some good gains as a runner. I can’t give him props though he was bad.

He got to live his dream. Not only playing in the NFL but playing for the home team.

Thats true. Thats my thoughts. Is he going to be Tom Brady, don't think so. But I think he can be Brian Hoyer. Who's still playing at 38 and is worth 19mil.

Just felt the need to rush here after a win and congrat our rival. Uh-huh. Glad you liked what you saw out of your guy who has no future in the NFL.

It was more to give kudos to someone who I thought played well. I wouldn't normally do it, but I was also raised to respect my opponent.

He reminded me of Denucci. Just out of his depth. He’s not an NFL starting QB.
I was thinking the same thing. He looks like he is a bit more under control than DeNucci was but still had that swimming in the deep end look about him.

Still, I think DeVito has a mental edge on DeNucci. He seems to have more pocket awareness and football IQ than DeNucci. DeNucci had a better arm.

I think Devito’s ceiling is a career backup. But he is going to have throw for more than 86 yards.

Hopeless situation for him.
They have a junk oline and junk receivers, relatively speaking.
And they were facing one league's very best pass defenses.
Plus the D was preposterously bad with all the backups.

Hard to say, maybe he finds a place in the league as a backup. Maybe not.
