Kupp to Seahawks

Kupp was overpaid. Many free agents were and always are overpaid. But you have only 2 choices. You pay to play the game and get better at any cost, or you decide to play it safe, refuse to overpay, and play with what you can throw together.

Saying a team overpaid for a player doesn’t make your team any better.

Been positive so far in free agency but still the needs are a WR2 and DT and backup QB and maybe a guy that can be the starting RG.

There are some good options at WR with Cooper and Moore. Belton could be a helluva answer at RG. For the right price, I would consider Samuel's at CB also.

If we could do that then it would be a very good start to the season.

Was initially a bit annoyed that we didn’t land Kupp but that deal is outrageous in my opinion. Especially considering it’s 3 years. If it’s an expensive 2-year deal and it flops then the pain is short lived but 3 is more significant. I think the Cowboys are better off looking elsewhere after seeing the numbers. There is still a few solid options out there.

Don't agree with the result exactly but I much more appreciate the approach. Good stuff.

Only thing I disagree with is backup QB. I do like the idea of a rd QB to develop if a decent is available but I do not see it as as a need.

I think you could add CB as a need although I also see you recommend one. I appreciate the roster analysis.

Honestly these are the moves for that money they should avoid. My main issue is they don’t play the game where there is wiggle room for smart contracts. It’s cheap or pay high on our guys

Cowboys were never going to go three years. Probably a good decision. Still though, I would have loved the Cowboys to attack quickly and overpay a position or two of need. We still have a ton of holes. This roster looks really shallow and not great right now. This may be a 2-3 year rebuild...if they hit on their draft picks.
