This is what I've noticed, thus why I come out so much in defense of Dak (and rightfully so as shown on this video). Yet, I keep getting blasted by Dak's critics, hence why it gets ugly when I rightfully state they don't know what they are watching and complaining about. This place has gotten bad because people clearly don't understand what they are watching.
Yeah I don’t want to keep giving Dak excuses but I’m not sure what he’s suppose to do on this play.

With Steele & Martin that’s one entire side of problem . Smith & Guyton not worried about and Beebe . You’re not benching Martin but certainly Steele can be replaced by Richards . See what results you get . If Martin retires by 25 I assume Bass goes to camp as leading candidate . Need a new RT and certainly an OL coach next season .

Someone mentioned Robert Prince a few threads earlier . Exactly right . The WR coach in my opinion hasn’t exactly had the Tolbert’s Brooks and Flournoy trio burning up the stat sheets .

I think all three can produce . With problems at RB and both trenches next draft I’m mystified that Dallas has to fish in the WR lake next April when the young receivers already here aren’t targeted much at all .

I’m reluctant to be critical of Jeff Blasko RB coach when the teams sole pickups were Zeke and Dalvin Cook . This position in desperate need of 3rd round at the latest draft help and heck even a 2nd rounder if it’s a possible home run can’t pass on talent .

Kamara Henry the two headed attack out of Detroit headed up by Montgomery the run game in SF wasn’t devastating but was effective . Dallas needs an infusion of RB talent next year Mr .McClay & Jones . Next up Atlanta and its two backs have 900 yards so far this year .

RBs Isaac Guerendo, Braelon Allen, Rasheen Ali and Tyrone Tracy Jr were all available late in the 4th round when the 49ers used our original late 4th round pick (which Jerry used to trade for BUST QB Trey Lance) to draft Isaac Guerendo with. Guerendo or Allen would have been a very nice and helpful pickup for us.

HUGE MISTAKE badly hurting this team. What a stupid trade move by Jerry which 80% of posters here previously approved of. Now we see the results. For all the rightful condemnation everyone is placing on Jerry, today, 80% need to look in the mirror because so many were happy with that Lance trade.

No online is gonna save us from a guy who can no longer move. A long time ago the line sucked then Romo came in. Then the line sucked again and Dak and Zeke came along. IMHO the only thing that will save this team now is some real change.

A majority of the Cowboys coaches would not hold the same position on any other NFL team.

The RB Coach Jeff Blasko, his entire career has been as an OL coach.

Ramon Chinyoung is the assistant OL coach has zero real experience.

The actual OL coach is a dinosaur who literally coached for the Cowboys under Tom Landry.

Robert Prince can't seem to get WRs to run crisp routes at all. He's been in the league for a minute, but no one should be impressed with his "coaching."

Greg Ellis, Cristian Garcia, and Darian Thompson have no NFL coaching experience.

It's a staff full of yes men and happy-to-be-here guys.
Part of this is Jerry literally doesn't want to pay new coaches. He doesn't want to fire bad coaches and pay them and the new ones at the same time. That's why this staff is cobbled together using the coaches already under contract, and a bunch of new coaches with little to no experience. It's cheaper.

When the Lance trade went down I was appalled he gave up a 4th round pick . Other posters blew off a 4th rounder , I thought otherwise . In light of Cooper Rush I thought it a risk not needed .

My position on Lance now with him leaving next yr is why not incorporate the Wildcat in the attack especially inside the red zone . Get something out of this trade . Prescott world still start, Yes a fresh College RB is a must next draft .

Yeah but even then they recouped not having that 4th rounder by trading down and getting another 3rd rounder. This team just had no intent on drafting someone. Or signing one for that matter. They just had to have the linebacker from Notre Dame over a RB.

When we all seen this play live everyone in the room said that was a whack *** throw by Dak. Seeing it again this way shows why it was. Not only did Zach have a brainfart, Beebe got pushed right into Dak's arm.
I repeat.....PERFECT & FLAWLESS is the requirement now. Roster and coaching has failed this team. Soon Carolina Panther fans will get mad at me for comparing.

Trading down to get another 3rd rounder does not make up for wasting our original 4th round draft pick for a BUST QB who is never going to be used and likely leave via free agency after this season. That's just pointing fingers and making excuses for refusing to take accountability, learning from such repeated dumb decisions and not committing them again. We should have kept our original 4th round pick, plus still traded down to get an extra 3rd rounder the way it eventually happened. THAT would have been the best decision to gain more. Too bad Jerry is not smart enough to understand that, and it keeps hurting this team.

I don't think he can't.....he chooses not to run. Frankly, Jerry just said this week he doesn't want him running, so that may have something to do with it also.
This! ^^^^

Jerry is the one keeping Dak from running with the football. Guarantee Jerry put it in the new contract extension. Jerry is protecting his league record new contract player because keeping Dak healthy (whether it helps or hurts the team) keeps the stadium seats sold out and majority of fans interested in watching Dak and the Cowboys.

I mean you can blame them for trading for Lance. I personally don’t. Either way I’m just saying you can’t use it as an excuse for why they didn’t draft a RB because they had plenty of picks to do it at.

As far as not wanting them to trade for Lance I was for it. It’s not working but you don’t stop making moves because it doesn’t work.
