But I had another thought about this. It relates to Mazi Smith. Notice how Zack is a fraction of a second late and the defensive lineman beat him to the gap to get pressure on Dak? With Mazi's late get off, you can see why he never gets pressure. The offensive lineman is beat him to the point of attack. Mazi loses his battle before he ever gets out of his stance. If Zack Martin was facing Mazi he could bob his head, pick his nose and scratch his butt before Mazi would get out of his stance. Mazi can never be an effectiv DT until he learns to get off on the snap quickly with the intention of getting into the offensive lineman before the offensive lineman get set.

I mean you can blame them for trading for Lance. I personally don’t. Either way I’m just saying you can’t use it as an excuse for why they didn’t draft a RB because they had plenty of picks to do it at.

As far as not wanting them to trade for Lance I was for it. It’s not working but you don’t stop making moves because it doesn’t work.

Buuuut he’s most likely gone after this year so any progress he made with the cowboys is beneficial to the player, not the cowboys.

That's the point. Jerry keeps making unnecessary and such stupid moves which keep hurting this team's roster. Whether it's a dumb trade or a way too high bad draft pick. It never stops with this owner.

A majority of the Cowboys coaches would not hold the same position on any other NFL team.

The RB Coach Jeff Blasko, his entire career has been as an OL coach.

Ramon Chinyoung is the assistant OL coach has zero real experience.

The actual OL coach is a dinosaur who literally coached for the Cowboys under Tom Landry.

Robert Prince can't seem to get WRs to run crisp routes at all. He's been in the league for a minute, but no one should be impressed with his "coaching."

Greg Ellis, Cristian Garcia, and Darian Thompson have no NFL coaching experience.

It's a staff full of yes men and happy-to-be-here guys.

I hated the Prince hire. He had a couple stints at Boise State and was absolutely terrible. Especially his last one as OC.

Terrence Steele is a very lucky man.

Absolutely no other franchise gives him 5/82 million with 50 guaranteed.

The part that irritates me the most…..if he was someone else’s player they wouldn’t even look at him, but they have their own way of doing things….and it doesn’t work.

Yeah but even then they recouped not having that 4th rounder by trading down and getting another 3rd rounder. This team just had no intent on drafting someone. Or signing one for that matter. They just had to have the linebacker from Notre Dame over a RB.

Best part is if Zimmer had any input in that pick he's probably gone next year.

Yeah I don’t want to keep giving Dak excuses but I’m not sure what he’s suppose to do on this play.

VALID reasons are not excuses,

casual fans need to understand the differences and like 2022 we saw these types of things and add in poor route tress, poor route running, lack of separation and now no run game at all.. Daks not regressed hes playing frustrated and most of his issues are NOT HIM!!
