Maybe Wade's a Procter fan because he makes his defense look so good in practice.

As I've pointed out time and again. Holland couldn't get his *** on the field for months. If Holland who is a vet with considerable starting experience couldn't win a competition against Proctor, then he stands no chance in pushing Kosier.
Merlin;2807821 said:That is a flawed argument. He was traded mid-season (post training camp) or early in the season from a team with totally different blocking assignments. It was the coaching staff's fault that they left Proctor in there for so long when he continued to look worse and worse. They could have tried McQuistan since he had reps at the guard position but THEY chose no to. When Holland was in there, he got the job done and is a better run blocker than Kosier.
Look for Holland to win the job this year as the team looks to run more. Kosier can be the top backup as he can play several positions. Hopefully, he can add center to his repertoire so we can rid the team of the Proctorlogist.

You don't often see a guy who is totally healed continually aggravating the injury so it is likely that the initial fracture was worse than team Drs thought. Or that Kyle just heals slower than other guys. Either way they are right to take caution here as KK was a huge loss last year.
AbeBeta;2807927 said:Your argument is the poor one. He's a vet who played in other systems. It isn't like the totally forgot what he did in college and in New Orleans once he hit Denver for a single season.
Let's see 30 starts in New Orleans playing in a more traditional blocking scheme from 2003-2006. A single year in the Denver scheme, where he really didn't fit. Didn't start until when? THANKSGIVING.
You can say "oh its the coaching staff's fault." But seriously, B freaking S. It takes conspiracy theorist level beliefs to think that Holland was just tearing it up in practice but the staff were all too stupid to realize he'd be better than Proctor.
