Kyle Orton Interview

Of course some idiots would. That wasn't the point of my original post. My point was, he's not going to try and cause a stir, it sounds like he's going to be a good backup that works WITH the franchise guy, and one that is happy with it.

You ask why I posted a emicon and it is because you don't want him to view himself as a threat to Romo.

You don't want him to "cause a stir"? What kind of a stir could Orton cause?

You don't follow this team very closely do you? One wrong word out of orton's mouth and every news crew in the state is camped outside Valley Ranch.

Why do you think that Orton chose Dallas? I mean he's 29 years old and could be the starter on at least 3 or 4 teams. I think he may know that Romo has missed games the last 2 seasons and may cherish the opportunity to play with our skill players. How many years was his contract.

He took less money from Washington to come to Dallas.

Uh, isn't that the point?

Why go to a team that will pay you less?

I've kind of followed his system throughout," Orton said. "I think Jason has a great system, one that you get the ball out on time, and you should have guys running open with the talent we have and the guys in the backfield."

We'll visit this again later.

I kind of agree, however
I don't think his agent was getting feelers for him as a starter. And when you think about it; what teams wuld actually want him as a starter? Some may think of him differently and like their guy more than we or others do....or they arre already going for a QB early in the draft.

We are paying him well to have one of the best jobs in all of pro sports--the backup QB. They are always popular, get paid well, don't play special teams, and just need to stay prepared to be doing their job.

Did you mean he took less money to come to Dallas than Washington was offering?

Yeah. I dunno what the hell I was saying.

Washington offered more.

You got it right.
