I find that guys who have played are almost always the worst analysts and scouts there are. In fact, How many of the best gms, or even scouts have ever played the game? This is a moot point.
Hilarious. I would smoke you in ranking players or drafting them. Last year I wanted the Cowboys to pick Sam Williams with their 1st round pick...and Tyler Smith with their 2nd round pick. Cowboys picked both but in opposite order. Cowboys got both players I was hoping they would get, and both played lights out as rookies.

I bet you didn't have either one of them as wanting the Cowboys to pick.

None of this makes any since to anything I said. Why are you trying to flex about getting Smith and Williams correct? Hahah that’s funny, who cares. Who are you the scout Oracle of CZ because of that? If you’re so great why aren’t you doing it for a living? Wouldn’t it be better than selling iPhone cases at that kiosk?
Bruh, you don’t know anything about me. Maybe you prove my point about guys who didn’t play at a high level being better at scouting than guys who did.

So you played at a higher level? Really? How so?

As for my draft pickings, I stated in the Draft Zone how the Cowboys seriously needed to address the DT position early in order to help Micah and our Defense become even better. Guess which position was addressed first and who the Cowboys drafted with their 26th overall pick last night? Guess who knows what they are talking about?

Broaddus was so wrong this draft. I think the Cowboys planted him. Mazi was barely mentioned on the draft show. It’s funny how nobody thought the Cowboys would pick the defensive tackle.
LOL...So true brother! It's comical hearing the Cowboys media draft show and realizing how wrong they all were. Like @Pass2Run said, they all tend to parrot Broaddus.

This was the first year they didn’t have anyone to check him. The rest of the guys on the show were Robinson groupies. I still think Ieasha knows more then anyone else on the show.

30 years of history said they wouldn't. Super excited we did. Even Jerry said it was a move he wouldn't make 10 years ago.

I'd argue the opposite.

Dallas hasn't been very secretive over the years.
They let a franchise tagged TE walk, they very likely have that in play.
Especially with 5 TEs in the 30 visits.
I don't think an R4 and an UDFA that combined for 277 yards receiving total avert that gaze by any means.
And again, I think people forget Fergusion had concussion issues last year.

But they may not feel R1 is TE-land and wait 'til R2 or R3. I could see that option. ((I don't personally think any regular position should be excluded entirely from R1 but S, TE, RB all have negative scores that reduce the players to at least mid R1)).

Last year Dallas released La'el Collins, let an LG walk then drafted an OT R1.
This year they let another LG walk and agreed to a pay cut with the LT.
Likely in play for OL again.

They released a pricey vet RB.
They likely need a RB of some sort but they have had luck with Pollard, Barber, Choice without drafting R1 guys.

At DT they were signing guys off the street and giving them significant snaps much of the year.
Likely in play at some point.

They resigned their safety.
They traded for another team's WR1. --reportedly they did not like this WR class much at all.
They traded for a plus starting CB.

But nonetheless we will see how R1 goes in hours now.
going to pimp put my own post because his was pre-draft and still holds which I think gives us directions for tonight.

There are several. One that I noticed right away was that Sewell LB from Oregon. He had him rated a few spots just above 100. That Sewell young man is better than that. All one has to do is watch some tape on him.
Penei's little brother is just not an impressive athlete. Dane ranks him a 4th/5th rounder guy, well OUTSIDE the top 100.
Big and physical but not built for today's game with weak hip and ankle flexion. ((I talk about those a lot because those plagued me too))
Ironically, he ran a 4.64 and I was a 4.65. I had straight line speed but was bad at breaking down and he gets knocked for that as well.

Noah reminds me of late career Jaylon Smith.
