It is real bad, real bad. Places that I frequent are completely gone. I have a home that we rent out off San Vincent with its back facing Rustic Canyon. I am shocked that it is still standing. The Pallisades are completely unrecognizable, as is Malibu off the PCH. That row of houses you see in the opening of Two and Half Men is gone too, all of it.

It's bad. The city of Boise (and a few of the surrounding suburbs) are deploying fire fighters down there to aid in the fight. I work for the City of Boise, and the Radio division manager (they set up radio comms for a lot of the forest fires here in Idaho) sent a helicopter video of the destruction, and it's just insane to see the devastation these fires have caused.

The entire thing is just absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. I can't begin to imagine the pain of losing a home, and probably for most people, everything you own. My heart definitely goes out to those affected.

That’s really great of Boise to do that . Hats off to that city .

I believe another was detained for the Woodland Hills fire too. I would bet they were all related to arson.
I suspect the initial fire was probably homeless or someone careless that started the fire (I haven't heard of any down lines that could have caused it) - but I didn't really buy into the theory of flying embers setting off the other fires miles away in multiple different directions. I think this just gave a lot of sickos out there a perfect cover to burn crap and thought they could get away with it.

Those trucks, along with others have been ordered to a DOT inspection in Sacramento. I think it’s at 4:30 tomorrow. This is pure bureaucratic incompetence. LA doesn’t need those trucks in a timely fashion or anything.
That is ludicrous. There are people in charge who obviously have never dealt with natural disasters before. With a stroke of a pen all the bs climate rules the trucks are getting inspected for can be waived.

Every year California seems to have mass fires disaster like this .. but i cannot recall where it was ..THIS bad.

People had to depart their stuck in traffic, on the road cars, because the wildfire flames were upon so fast.

I'd thought at this point of the season, winter cold or rain, how could there be a wild fire like this ?
and i thought Earthquakes were the biggest, posing danger to California residents.

So Praying for them, their safety and well being.

If it were Arson Crazy Nuts,.. wouldnt we hear about these kind of massive destructive wild fires all across the nation on a much frequent basis like we do with California ?
