Lack of Tackle Depth!

How do you have a top 5 offense in either yards or points for 4 of the last 5 seasons when both your OT's and your QB aren't any good?

Somebody is doing something good.

You could say it was receivers last season but somebody had to throw them the ball.

Last season was the first time in many seasons that they had a legitimate running attack.

So what gives?
7 wins. That offense was a compiler that tanked in big spots. LAC, Chicago, Carolina, and Arizona were a few games I remember the offense looking like a fake.

They were never contenders. They were never in a big spot. I'm not going to judge them for failing to score a TD on every pssession of the season. Which is what they had to do to win with that sorry excuse of a defense.

Regardless, nobody is giving up any O-linemen. Nobody has any to spare. So what we have is what we are stuck with for the season talent-wise.

Hate on bro.
Why can't you just admit when you are factually incorrect?

You could easily say something like, "Oh, my bad, I thought MG was out there too. However, Guyton still performed well against who he went up against, and I'm hopeful his good camp turns into a good season."

Would that be so hard?

Instead you spew hatred and vitriol.

I know you can be better than that.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. Maybe you have comprehension issues. Why all the hatred and vitriol from you?

coming from someone that hardly ever posts a positive post, that is rich

I think fans are over thinking how bad the OT's actually are.

One of the top offenses for quite a few years now.
And that is with many injuries on the OL. They have not had the projected starting OL on the field for the last 5 yers or more.
Well, maybe 5% of the time.

I think they will be just fine.
Agreed, but would like an established backup there.

Depth, there really isnt any at the moment. They were saying Thomas has been so bad he didnt look like an NFL player on G Bag yesterday. Shelton doesnt look ready. Watch roster cuts in a few weeks as maybe a likely add spot.
Sheldon needs an offseason peanut butter growth.

Best bottom line we can hope for is Steele either suffers a career-ending injury or a decent starter gets cut in camp by another team.
Sorry, but this post is both mean-spirited and ridiculous. First, why would you wish for a career-ending injury for any player let alone someone on your team? Am I missing something? If Steele goes down, the team suffers, because there is no one currently on the roster who is going to be better. And what team is going to cut an OT who is a decent starter? Is there another team out there, who has an abundance of offensive tackles capable of starting that they can just release? If they did, they wouldn't cut them, they would be looking to trade one or two of them for picks or players of equal value.
