The guy won a Super Bowl yet people bash the guy.
Seriously. He was a pretty good coach I think. I know he won with Jimmy's team, but winning a Super Bowl is still a great accomplishment. He also had the Boys in the NFC championship game in 94, and coached 10-6 team that went to the playoffs after the Super Bowl win so it's not like he only had one year and went 3-13 the other ones.

Barry does look good for his age hard to believe he's older than Jerry who even after several cosmetic procedures still looks like he's pushing 90.

As long as you don't go beneath the surface of Switzer's career, everything looks great, but if you start digging...

He's a clown who has a knack for salesmanship.

Oh yeah... and he just hitched a ride on the bus with Jimmy's team to that last SB victory. The team, the league and the media all knew the truth about Switzer.

"That team fell apart because there was no respect for the coach."

So, . . . . . . . . . . hot air got him a 157-29-4 record at the college level?

People talk about Barry like he wasn't a good coach but look at what he did at Oklahoma. He was as good as Jimmy as a college coach. Barry knew he wouldn't get any recognition in Dallas because people would say he did it with Jimmy's players. I like Barry and think, as a person, he's twice the guy Jimmy ever was.............

We all got our opinions I guess.

I absolutely hated Switzer's laissez-faire approach to discipline/coaching. He got lucky to get the one SB before he and Jerry's ineptness finished off our mini-dynasty. And as a person, Switzer was just a little bit too "Goobery" for me.

yea right did he beat UT how many times in all those years ?

This may have contributed to his 9–5–2 record against the University of Texas, including a 3–0–1 record against Darrell Royal and a 2–0 mark against David McWilliams.

lol
