He also had the Boys in the NFC championship game in 94, and coached 10-6 team that went to the playoffs after the Super Bowl win so it's not like he only had one year and went 3-13 the other ones.

However, if you set aside your bitterness over Jimmy leaving and realize that Switzer came into a difficult situation in some ways you can see that he deserves some credit. Any coach that came in would have won with "Jimmys team." Switzer had Jimmy's coaches. He had to do a good job with the "people issues." He did what a good HC should have done, and was the right guy for the job at that time.
