Maybe it is me but I did not see it as being that bad.

He basically pushes the guy away from her, hard but not bone breaking, and restrains him until she passes.

Personally it might be a good idea for the bodyguards to do the same to all of lady gaga's fans as if you are a fan of lady gaga maybe you need a little smacking around to get your head straight.

Her being a very big public figure and stalkers like CCF out there. : This is the entire reason she has bodyguards in the first place. Due to her celebrity status, she is easily a target for some creep. She wouldn't be the first either. John Lennon, Rebecca Schaeffer, Selena, and Ronand Reagan.

If I were her, I would want them to tackle that guy too before he got right up on me. You have no real idea what he plans on doing. Don't give me that crap about he had a pen and paper either. He could have easily been caring a weapon also and using that to masquerade as a fan wanting an autograph.

They took swift action to force him away from her and in doing so he got his head slammed. The guy held him down...she got out, they let him up. The guy got up without help or crying in pain.

Halle Berry just had a bad run in with a stalker as well.

You can't ever assume this person is just a fan. He may have displayed a pen and paper, but who is to say he doesn't grab her/tackle her/stab her with the pen. Who knows what else. People are crazy, the bodyguard just did his job. As soon as he thought the "danger" was gone, he got off the guy and left him alone.

The only issue that I have with it is the extra head slam against the door. He had the guy restrained and subdued. That extra head slam was unneeded. The threat was gone. That was all about teaching the guy a lesson and not protection. So yes, it was assault and I would not be surprised if she was sued.

Furthermore, she needs to hire a new crew, they absolutely suck, they left her unprotected for a couple seconds. Long enough for a coordinated attack to take place. That guy could have been the distraction which both guards reacted to and another guy could have came up and killed her with no problem. Amateurs.....Just because you are tall and muscled doesn't mean you can do a PPD.
