The only issue that I have with it is the extra head slam against the door. He had the guy restrained and subdued. That extra head slam was unneeded. The threat was gone. That was all about teaching the guy a lesson and not protection. So yes, it was assault and I would not be surprised if she was sued.

Furthermore, she needs to hire a new crew, they absolutely suck, they left her unprotected for a couple seconds. Long enough for a coordinated attack to take place. That guy could have been the distraction which both guards reacted to and another guy could have came up and killed her with no problem. Amateurs.....Just because you are tall and muscled doesn't mean you can do a PPD.

I didn't see at as an extra head slam against the door. Seemed like one continuous motion and they just ran out of room thus hitting the door. It took maybe 2 1/2 seconds from when the body guard first contacts the assailant to when he gets him to the ground. In that short amount of time, there is no extra slamming of body parts. It is all part of one action.

I don't mind what they did. It seems like a bit of an over reaction and poor work though. If that's what you're trained to do, can't you quickly notice that he is running at her with a pen and paper? lol please, what's he going to do? crumple up the paper and throw it at her?

Kind of my thought too, that is their job, they should know.

Different facts but when I was in Italy a couple of years ago, my son wanted a picture taken with the Vatican guards. He was not supposed to walk further than some grate on the ground but he walked past it between the two of them.

One guard at first said no, then said ah ok, knowing it was just a 6 year old who wanted a picture taken. I admit he wasn't running etc but they realized it was nothing and the guard should have realized it was a pen and paper.

Then again, when you are a meathead security guard, you usually don't have enough brain power to think.

tsk tsk, as long as you know only the US spells such words without "u".

and if I felt like going into an anti-American rant, I would say the reason there is no "u" in the words is because Americans need words to be spelled as simply as possible in order to get them right, but alas that is the old CCF, not the new and improved one so I won't take the opportunity to make that slam.

Just an fyi, Canada spells some words the American way like "tire" instead of the British way "tyre" and use many of your words like elevator instead of the british "lift" or truck instead of the British "lorry". Living next to the US has influenced our language. However, our British roots still come through and we spell words like neighbour with a "u" and centre with an "re" like the British instead of an "er". That is the joy of being caught in a British-American vice.
