We've been pretty fortunate on the injury front, let's hope this is the worst of it this season.

I was hearing six weeks out. It's a good thing we have Leary...

Should be a short term if not also season long improvement at the position.

Thank God for some depth.

I read a piece that said gone are the days of just hoping to stay healthy. It just doesn't happen anymore. More important to have depth than be top heavy.

Ron Leary, this is your golden opportunity. Much like you lost the job due to injury, you have gotten it back in the same way. Here's your chance to show the rest of the league what you're capable of and earn that next, big contract you've been hoping for. Best of luck big man!

As for La'el Collins, that's a tough break. Get healthy and take back your starting job. This year or next.

Silver lining is Leary is a good guard. Hope he dominates so much a team backs several Brinks trucks full of money to him in the off-season for that compensatory pick to rise.

The bigger contact he signs, the better comp pick we get too

We may even get a fifth out of the deal.

He's going on IR. Why wouldn't they save the return until the end of the season. Could see this costing them.

At least there's good reason to believe La'el won't be rushed back before he's 100% ready and able to perform capably. In the meantime, we shouldn't miss a best.
