LA was a physical phenomenon who had the drive to exploit his gifts to the max. That is so rare. Collins does not have those gifts and neither does Martin. From 98 to 01 LA was absolutely the best OL in the game. As good as our two young ones are they will never be that good.

what ticked me off about the idiocy of the staff is not having Collins there ready to take over in the pats game. It was clear from the first few plays that leary was going to have a bad day.

Leary is still the better player when healthy. Problem is he is clearly unhealthy. That groin was definitely not ready to go against New England.

He should have been active, I agree.

Cassel in for Weeden. Check.

Collins in for Leary. Check.

Gregory back practicing. Check.

Only thing left for this bye week is the coaching staff ramping up Michaels carries and taking some from Randle.

Collins has no position flex. So if he isn't the starter you can't have him active.

I hope Leary is being professional about this, he may have a future in Dallas yet

Hoping this is the result of autocorrect.

I'm just hoping we start winning again. Love the fact that we have a coach who will yank a starter if need be till he completely heals or whatever the issue is...

I really can't help but believe Leary rushed himself back before he was fully prepared. The results spoke voumes.

La'el is the future LG for this team and I'm sure Leary saw the handwriting on the wall. I can't say as I blame him.
