Collins was often terrible in pass protection last year. He's got a LONG way to go.

show us something then - well lets start with him being a rookie

Did any of you watch how Collins played? Look at that before you call this a trash discussion. He REALLY needs some work. I'd rather keep him than trade him. Offensive lineman should not be GETTING PANCAKED.

show us where an when this happening ?

show us the proof ?

I trust other people's eyes as much as I trust Broaddus' opinion on just about anything. That's very little.

Going to need video on this since I didn't focus on Collins much at all yesterday.

Man, Collins is the least of our problems .The OL was way better in 2015 than it was in 2014.

Well if they liked Leary, he'd be starting.

With Green's performance, I think Leary is becoming more valuable by the minute. Although I agree I doubt we resign him, he's no longer a luxury but a necessity this season if anything happens to any of the starters. Green's emergence was huge and for whatever reason just hasn't happened.

Protecting Tony is #1. Our only OL depth is Leary. Green is a rookie (game experience) and a 3rd round pick last year. He's not ready, but unless they bring in someone who is, that's what we have.

La'el Collins is always one to watch for his flashy plays, but I noticed he was getting turned around and even was pancaked by a defender. He has a great highlights, but is a very hot and cold player. Not consistent from play to play. (And I'm not counting when he lets his defender past him while setting up a screen.) On the run before the TD, the guy he let through almost disrupted the whole thing.

He definitely needs to work on his consistency. If not, he'll be great trade bait. I certainly hope it doesn't come to that, he's very good when he wants to be.

Was it Aaron Donald because that guy is pretty good....in fact their entire DL is good

I'm only human. I don't have the power to pull up videos out of nowhere to prove anything. But from my own eye test he needs to get better with pass blocking. I don't know what else I can do for you. He's probably scored well in run blocking and pushing, which is why I still think he suits the system going foward. I'm not about trading him, but that doesn't mean he hasn't shown problems.

And while we're at it, might I add that Romo looked awful on the sideline yesterday. I think he's lost his edge. Zero focus.
Is it... "that time", yet?

It only makes sense to trade a cheap ascending player if somebody offers you a deal you cant refuse. I dont see it based on the fact the guy plays for peanuts the next two years.

He is a little inconsistent but the upside is definitely there. We got lucky on that Dez TD because he was 5 yards downfield, should have been a penalty. I watched that play like 10 trying to figure out if it was a run/pass option but no other lineman went up the field.

I don't know why but he just looks like a tackle to me. Maybe he will move out there once We are ready to move on from Free and he is a little more comfortable.

I mostly keyed in on Donald yesterday.

I don't recall him really causing too much trouble. Once when he went up against Collins, Collins did a good job of staying in front of him and keeping him out of the play.

One play where Donald was disruptive, I couldn't tell if it was Fred or Collins.

A possible solution is to run more. Especially on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1. I mean this OL is supposed to be the best run blocking OL in league so let them play to their strengths more.
