Dak about to endure a pounding that only Romo ever entertained.

It's an off season plan to get Dak to work on his mobility. Sorry Dak, the arm chair ride's over, we're scaling down on the O-Line ....may need to up your health insurance.

Truth hurts doesn’t it

As if Dallas didn't happily pamper and over pay these guys. He was wanted plenty, until he showed up fat and out of shape, then got injured, then bribed a test collector.

Far be it from me to defend these yahoo's but most the guys we've parted ways with were real good at collecting money and not producing to the level of contract.

Hard to argue against after we keep spitting out disappointing season after disappointing season with no real change to that pattern in site as long as the Jones' are calling the shots.

Jason Garrett somehow brainwashed Cowboys fans into believing the only way to win is with an all pro offensive line.

Bengals made the super bowl with their qb taking a beating.

KC and Bengals lost because their OL was terrible.

OL is the most important unit on the team.

Why? Dallas telegraphed they would cut him over a week ago. The Bengals smartly waiting the Cowboys out knowing they were going to cut him. The problem is Dallas tried to trade him at the worst possible time.

I’d guess they offered to trade him out of respect for the player.

he got cut because of the league year deadline.

Dallas didn’t want him. He cost too much, has a drug suspension, a bad hip, and Steele.

he didn’t make the Pro Bowl once.

This was a long time coming .

While I don’t like not getting a pick they can have his fat butt. The dude played 10 games since he signed his contract

And you gotta wonder if there is a potential suspension in the pipeline that Dallas knows about lol…. Would anyone be surprised?

Again, I am not arguing they shouldn't have traded him, I am arguing they should not have cut him now. His salary guarantees this week but even though it is guaranteed, if he is traded his new team assumes the CAP impact of his salary.

Designating him a June 1 cut means his CAP save does not come until June. The Cowboys are $26 million under the CAP already. By June 1 all the best free agents will be signed with other teams. The Cowboys do not need his $10 million CAP save now or in June. Plus, are they sure Steele is good enough to be the full time RT? Why not let the two compete for the position and see who wins? If Steele proves himself to be good enough then trade Collins in August. I will guarantee there will be teams who suffer injuries and will need a player like Collins come August. My point is, Collins's trade value will be much greater after free agency and the draft. Holding him until summer is only a slight risk they might have to pay him his guaranteed salary. But the greater likelihood is they would get a good draft pick for 2023 for him.

The inability to get a good draft pick for a starting RT with a team friendly contract is just another confirmation of had bad Dallas FO is at their Job.

This was an awful decision by Dallas. If they waited until after the draft they could have gotten a good draft pick for him and still gotten his salary off their books. But the scary thing is what if Steele turns into Chaz Greene?

I'm just glad the haters won't be able to say it is bc of his line that he produces.
I wont be glad if Dak gets pounded, I would prefer upgrading and some solid focus on this OL.
Keep all those 5th rounders and draft all OL available.
