Shame on meAre you trying to use facts with Pappy?
People get these perceptions and narratives and just run with them, regardless of what the facts are. It's crazy.Yes, or very close to. Dak is always pretty consistently near the top of the league in air yards.
The idea that Dak is a dink and dunk quarterback isn't based on any sense of reality.
It's so bizarre how people are so bent on criticizing Dak that they just make stuff up to complain about. Dak is the opposite of a dink-and-dunk QB and always has been. He was 6th in the league in air yards per attempt last year, and 2nd in throwing to or beyond the sticks on 3rd down. Anyone making the dink-and-dunk argument just instantly loses all credibility.Quote(And he’s looking for the deep ball now.)Quote
After 7 seasons...... .........Expect the same dink and dunk garbage as anything longer is suicidal for us.
Keep him under 3rd and 4 and there's a chance.....
I don’t think they are taking Pollard off that field. Passing downs, short yardage it’s gonna be Tony unless they bring someone else in.It's not about having a lead back. It's about being in third-and-short instead of constant third-and-long and also running the ball late in games to just work the clock.
You don't need Pollard for that.
Ok?I don’t think they are taking Pollard off that field. Passing downs, short yardage it’s gonna be Tony unless they bring someone else in.
“Gallup leads the NFL in total go routes run with 71, and ranks third in the league in yards gained on deep receptions with 190 (on just nine total deep targets). Each of those 190 yards have been gained on go routes, with Gallup catching five of nine targets on such routes. Gallup has found the end zone on a deep target once this season, all while existing in a receiving corps that also includes Amari Cooper and rookie CeeDee Lamb, proving his ability to carve out a niche for himself among stellar teammates.”
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...o-run-the-damn-ball-so-i-can-rest-my-defense/"I think when you're a coordinator, you know but you're in charge of the offense. Being a head coach and being a play caller, you're a little more in tune with (everything). I don't desire to be the No. 1 offense in the league. I want to be the No. 1 team in the league with the number of wins and a championship. And if we've got to give up some production and take care of the ball a little better to get that, then that's what we'll do because we have a really good defense."
I never said run the ball less. I said they wouldn’t pass less.Ok?
They aren't going to run the ball less because TP is tired.
Hey post those 2017 training camp never as they’ll never see it coming……How often they got to re-package the same story? The moment Moore got here, Dallas explosive play rate went up dramatically, to top 3 in the league.

As I said before, Gallup ran the most go routes in 2020,

You guys act like Dak is suddenly going to learn how to throw consistently against zone defenses.
Dink and dunk was soo 2017.Quote(And he’s looking for the deep ball now.)Quote

It's been tooooo long since they have seen their man-crush throw some interceptions or fumble the ball due to poor pocket awareness. How often they got to re-package the same story? The moment Moore got here, Dallas explosive play rate went up dramatically, to top 3 in the league.

So now they are selling the offense as aggressive, when Mike McCarthy was saying that aggressiveness kept the defense on the field, tiring them out and also led to Dak’s TOs.

When you all Dak fanboys going to accept the fact he’s leaked after 8 years.
I actually think he throws 20 if he plays 17…so yeah I’d take the overUnder 15.5 ints for Dak in 17 games played
Have you seen the clips of Deuce in training camp though.. guy is like half the size of everybody else.. can’t wait to see Dak sail passes over his head on game day right into the hands of DBs when he goes against real defenses and panics..It's been tooooo long since they have seen their man-crush throw some interceptions or fumble the ball due to poor pocket awareness.
They are hurting watching him chase down the DE or CB who are taking his pass for a pick 6 while he's chasing them (Mouth breathing of course) looking lost out there.
Patience lads as 1 month from now big-headed Prescott with that deer in the headlights look about him will re-confirm to all how much this job is over his head........
Again, Dak will throw on early reads, meaning the play calling is for it. His biggest weakness is processing and going through reads. If you get him off his first read, he’s awful. He states down his reads and because of that lose complete awareness of the rest of the field. He’ll go immediately to his check down and ignore everything else if the early read isn’t there.Haven't they led the leauge in explosive plays and offense before?
