that was the biggest problem with Moore. he didn't use the right route combinations to press the defense to defending the whole field. he ran recievers into the same area often. hoping it will confuse the defense.
Lmao. Yeah Moore tried to confuse them by running the same routes over and over. Reminded me of the person who taught him (Linehan). He would pass 3 straight times from the 2 yard line. I heard our new OC saying he wanted to make defenders cover the whole field. If they do this it will make a world of difference for Dak. If our O-Line is playing well. I think of course a lot rides on our O-Line playing well. Think of all the years we wasted with that awesome O-Line.

Decent chance he throws MORE than 15 picks this season as long as he plays every game.
That is possible especially if he is aggressive on hitting players running over the middle. I've noticed in past years he tries to limit his throws over the middle and be safe throwing outside but when you don't have that velocity those longer throws are more prone to be jumped when that ball hangs up there.

Execution of said play will again reveal itself to be at fault once this current playcaller calls some of the same old 70 percent leftover offense and you see the same results.

I know I'm right on not being able to make this stuff up, but thanks.
I almost never have issue with play design. its the route combinations you call on a given play. I think that's where Moore lacked, as he often called some bad ones. if MM can just improve that, then we should be better. also, situational play calling is going to hopefully get better, as Moore just didn't have that in him. like in the 4th quarter, leading by two TDs, calling three straight long pass plays. or passing three times from inside the 3 yard line. or passing too often on a 3rd and short.

I'm very down on Lamb so I don't much care about his words on Dak. They both have something to prove.
Yeah if Tolbert has actually improved he has a shot. I saw several plays last year where Lamb didn’t cut in front of the defenders face. A couple got picked. Dak should not have thrown it but if Lamb did his homework and read the defense he would have known to cut it short.

Not a believer in the genius of KM. I'll take that bet as well.
He will keep the picks down this year. I think they will have different routes and combos of routes. I just hope they establish a run. Our new O-Line coach has a more aggressive blocking scheme. Let the big dogs eat.

Yeah, I hear ya.
This so called aggressive approach is what I wanted to get away from and rather support a downhill running game which is what this QB needs to achieve any kind of post season success and I thought that's where we were headed with this HC after Moore's firing.

But now it seems the offseason speech of run the ball and rest the dee has changed back to a pass happy philosophy that we all know the ending.

Not a fan.

A difference of opinion doesn’t mean you’re wrong. There’s no way you can “prove” Dakota is or isn’t a “Top 10 QB.” What does that even mean?
And you can't "prove" that Patrick Mahomes is better than Babe Laufenberg, by that same idiotic standard.

It's just an opinion!!!!!
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

But for some ODD reason, NFL personnel collectively believe Dak's a top 10 QB.

Almost like the people who are paid to know NFL football think the Anti-Dak Cult is comprised of a bunch of know-nothing idiots.
