Yep, the one time to Zeke and he scored a TD on it. They needed to throw more of them because that is always a good thing to do when the pass rush is fierce. Kellen Moore is garbage.

We included screen routs in the route trees at least 15+ times.

In fact, the time we went for it on 4th down, Zeke was wide open on a screen route.

That is true for all 32 teams. Majority of passes are short all the time. However, Goff threw more deep than Dak did and he did so in under 3 seconds.

They commented through out the game that Goff was throwing very short passes most no more than 2.5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Dak was looking down field not throwing swing passes and no Goff was not throwing more deep balls and 1 of his deeper routs saw pressure and an int.

Dak was under pressure all night. The man literally has no idea where the pressure is coming from........look no further than the Brockers sack that killed a drive. Dak is so locked downfield that he misses opportunities to roll out away from pressure and extend plays.

Our O line was a disaster last night. Dak had no time to allow the downfield stuff to play out. And every time he did he literally got hit as he was throwing anything 10 yards downfield. Donald a record setting night getting pressure on almost 30% of pass rushes. The league high last year was donald at 13%.

The Oline was not nearly as bad as people on here are claiming..

It's the NFL.. He might have to deal with a pass rush.

Guess what guys... If he's making 40 million a year more problems like this will come up because there will be holes on the team because of his contract.

So you will either have to treat him like a big boy 40 million dollar QB and ask of him to overcome it or just say that he is too dependent of players around him and we can't afford to give him elite QB money to play caretaker.

Goff had more yards on less passes and threw more downfield than Dak. (Granted the 50 yarder to Gallup should have stood and would have given Dak the edge here. Point is Goff is not known as a deep passer so Dak should have easily beat him in that regard. The coaches need to get him to throw a handful more passes beyond 15 yards than he is doing now.)

yes they got a lot of yards off those short passes but fact is most of Goff passes were not deep balls even Collinsworth mention it was well under league avg on the length of his passes but they worked especially in the 1st half of game.

I am having a hard time understanding why we are not getting Gallup more involved in the passing game.

Only 5 Targets last night. Also, no TDs to the WRs. That's not going to get it done.

I don't understand the dink and dunk approach to much of the Cowboys offense tonight.

All night I kept screaming for them to throw the ball down the field.

I would guess the were playing a 2 high safety zone and they weren't forced to bring one of the safeties down in the box because their front 7 did the job.
