Actually Gallup got the best cornerback when they would all play. Cooper was not the guy that defenses feared like some fans think. Cooper has not been special since 2018.
CBS rotated with Gallup and Coop.
Cooper himself admitted at season's end last year that he mostly was single-covered all 2021 season long. Another fact that destroys the pro-Cooper crowd.
Single covered doesn't mean you didn't draw cb1. Logic

Almost all receivers don't come into their own until year three. So all of you guys that are worried about Lamb are jumping the gun. This is the year in which you judge whether he's ready or not. And to those that didn't know that...

After looking at the stats Lamb only had two 100 yard games last season. While many have always concluded that Lamb is a #1, myself included, this is kind of scary. In the final month he only had 15 catches total over 4 games.

The last time he scored a TD was against Atlanta back on November 14th.

The playoffs, 1 catch for 5 yards.

Just like RB a 1,000 yard season with 17 games is barely averaging 58 yards per game.

Food for thought as we go into 2022 season….
He actually had 3 100 yard games last year (games against Tampa, NE & Minnesota), and he had a 94 yard game and 3 games of over 80 yards. And he shared targets with Cooper, Gallup, Wilson and Schultz. He won't be sharing as much now, so we just have to see how he respond, but I don't see that his past is a negative.

Prescott is the restrictor plate for any WR. Whatever the wideout is capable of take about 20% off if he has to play with this sky pointing stiff.
Man, if I only knew what a restrictor plate was, would I get all over you!

Cooper had his best production in Dallas. Imagine that.

Amari Cooper had 5 catches against San Francisco in the playoffs and Cedrick Wilson had 5. CeeDee Only had one catch and a drop. He’s going to have to step up his game this season. By the way Cedrick Wilson had two 100 yard receiving games and he didn’t get near as many opportunities.
Disagree ceedee had three catches that were called back and dak missed him on the drop. Regardless I do think we are going to miss cooper on big 3rd down conversions and in the red zone. Is this the drop your referring to?

He has the potential to be a # One.
He has not proven on he field yet that he is.
This season will tell us.
I like his chances...

Don’t know what you’re disagreeing about CeeDee was credited with one catch and had a drop.

so how many 1700 yard wrs were there last year? he had great season regardless of 100-yard games that not the barometer. So like a RB ironic only 7 Rbs had over 1k one was zeke and one over 1200 was taylor..so lets bring in all statistics all players. 17 games meant nothing to the rest fo the backs outside of taylor.

so when we knock zeke without bringing in real facts, like the rest of the league

well same with lamb whop outside of Kupp were that great,, chase only had 300 yards more as a main target, lamb was technically our # 2 but we had a lot of production out of AC, Schultz, and other like Wilson etc lamb only had 79 catches out of how many targets, thats key.. he cant throw it to himself

ONLY THREE players topped 1500 yards last year maybe were in the 1000-1200 yard area as lamb was.. sure i lie to see Lamb get even better with more targets but the 17 game season nonsense and the 1k yard deal is often misused..,go look at the rests of the legue. not just one player.

Credited vs all the penalties that called back plays for the true unit that lost us that Game =Offensive line and coaching.. nice when a narrative ii sued to debate vs reality, Ceedee wasn't the issue the OL add Dl 3 BIG penalties and all the long drives they gave up..its always Trying to isolate a player like Lamb dak or zeke when we all saw the game.

Newsflash, wasn't those guys...

I'm not too worried about Lamb. Tale of two seasons last year for him. Pre Denver game he had 4TDs with games of 104, 81, 66, 13, 84,149, and 112 yards.

Post Denver he the production wasn't there, but that was an issue with the offense as a whole and for multiple reasons. CeeDee has the talent to be a #1 target, I'm more worried about the oline staying healthy and KM keeping this scheme fresh for a whole season.

Every time he had to play #1 WR role he didn‘t crack above 25 yards.

How did Foles have home field advantage? Did that just happen out of osmosis?

HFA has been achieved in Romo’s time and Dak’s first year , nothing came out of that , there is that.

wince wont be in his 3rd team if he was all you make out him to be. I agree he is a good QB ( may be better than what eggles have right now )

I don't know why we try so hard to devalue Ceedee. He was technically receiver #1 last year. The only question I have on Ceedee is if he will emerge as a top tier dominant #1 or just be a good #1 receiver in the top half of the league. Regardless Ceedee will be an important player on this team and we're lucky to have him fall into our lap.
