In this recurring dream about screens... were you peeking through one in it?
How did you know that?!

You beat me to it! I was about to say in before Catch17 says the scheme sucks! Which I've always agreed with you. But at least it was a whole lot better finally with Linny running the show.....finally!
If you live here in DFW and hear all of the local media it seems definite that Garrett would have kept Murray. Garrett is a "company man" and will defer to Stephen/McClay. Did you see the war room during the Floyd non-pick? Garrett was unhappy about trading down and not picking Floyd. Teams can have differences of opinion in the front office and still have a healthy situation.
if Dunbar is good enough to make the team, great, all the better, if not, well we move on
Yeah all Linny really did was attempt to be balanced.
Same scheme really.
Also, we actually attempted to beat the Jim Haslett style of defenses that teams destroy us with about halfway through the season this past year.
Yeah, I'm not doubting that Garrett wanted to keep Murray... just saying that Jason saying Murray is a good player doesn't indicate his feeling one way or another because Garrett would always speak highly of Murray, no matter what.
I know you get more info living there than I do living near New Orleans... (lucky bastige).
I might try to find a job in Dallas and move back... that's what I need to do.
Whoa, common sense alert. Watch out, they'll be coming for you.
Other than the sports teams, DFW is somewhat boring, especially compared to New Orleans. When people come from out of town for a visit and ask "what should we see" I never really have a good answer.
On the positive side you can get a mini-mansion for less then $100 per sqft.
Going back the the Dunbar topic, I've only heard Garrett be that emphatic with a few players. They meidia will ask about a lot of players and Garrett's answer is normally "he's a good football player" but he reserves the "he's a hell of a football player for just a few", IMO.
