I've always liked Dunbar. Yesterday, he showed what he can do when he gets important touches. He does things that Murray can't do but the competition makes Murray better. We don't have a number one, pro bowl, carry the load back but that's not needed with the offense.

I'm excited for the coming weeks as it looks like the offense might have it figured out. Gotta stop these slow starts.

he had a good game and very good game..won us the game in my eyes....if he was really pivotal he would never let murry get his job back when he comes back every three weeks from injury. good game nothing more

Didn't Dunbar also get hurt while Murray was out? He's also had fumble problems.. Maybe I'm overstating it. I don't think he's a number one back but his speed changes the running game for the better. 10 to 12 touches and I feel like he could have the same effect week after week.

I think there difference in styles work well together. It's a nice change up that I feel like we should utilize more often

Hes had a couple crucial fumbles and he has been out most of the season with injury. I hope if he can stay healthy they stick with the Murray Dunbar scheme.

I think he had 1 in preseason and 1 in regular season, I tell you what I like him better than Tanner or Randle.

The run blocking is leaps and bounds better than last year as well. No disrespect to Dunbar. I love the guy.

What I like about Dunbar is that he has the vision and agility to find holes and get their quickly. He had a few runs where he made plays that most rbs wouldn't be able to.

This. The running styles between Murray and Dunbar are very different and it really shows after watching Murray take a few carries then see one to to Dunbar. They, atleast yesterday, seemed to compliment eachother very well.

That being said, does Murray seems to have a very unusual technique to anyone else. At times when hes searching for a gap it almost looks like hes limping or something. Just bizzare.... But it looks nice when he racks up the yardage.
I read on this site somewhere that someone from the staff made a Dunar to Charlie Garner comparison. Flattering for Dunbar, but I actually agree a little.

Never question Dunbar's talent... His durability is what concerns me the most...

screen pass to Dunbar is money btw and coaching staff needs to run that more often

He can be a huge factor in our success going forward. He gets 7 yards where Murray would get 3 or 4. There is just more burst there, more wiggle, and the potential for big plays. Add Murray in for sure though, they are a combo package.

Why does it have to be "Dunbar takes Murray's job" why can't we run 2 backs given situations and match ups?

It's a thrill to see that kind of shifty quickness back in Dallas, an excellent compliment to Demarco.

His fumbles are a concern and he seems to end up running backwards a lot, which does get us more yards, but it's also a risky time for a ball carrier.

Dunbar makes moves at the LOS that Murray USED to.

Yeah, I went online just to check Dunbar's mri results and saw that he is done. Sucks that we lose the explosive change of pace, but we gotta keep running.

I like the Charlie Garner comparison. There are a lot of similarities between the two. Dunbar's burst of lightning will be missed. He and Murray compliment each other extremely well. I fear there is no other RB on the current roster tha can bring what he brought to the table. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
