Niners traded the wrong QB.

We got Lance for nothing.

They kept their 7th round scrub QB who blew up the Super Bowl.

You can’t make this up.
I agree we got Trance for nothing.

He will never play.

He broke his throwing hand and then his leg.

didnt have a choice. Had to miss seasons.
I get it... but when he did play, he didnt look good. Purdy stepped in on day 1 and looked like THE GUY.

I live in Norcal, so please dont tell me how wrong I am. Purdy was the guy as soon as he started taking snaps. Lance NEVER looked the part.

The 49ers were fools to trade the kid to us.
Niners mocks have them using the pick they got from Dallas for a defensive lineman. Imagine if they were to find an All-Pro DT with that pick. The 49ers are fools anyway. They drafted Lance in the first place.

They also signed DT Jordan Elliot for $5M a year.

So the pick could end up being 2 rotational DT's.

Give it time before you proclaim him HoFer.

Some of you guys are tripping over yourself playing Nostradamus. Both of those QB's have not finished their story just yet.

In a system designed to prop up and hide the weaknesses of average to below average QBs and make them look good. He couldn't even thrive in that setup.
Umm...they say Shanahan's offense is one of the more complicated ones so this is just patently false. Anyone who says this is just trying to diminish Lance for subjective reasons.

Romo was at the end of his career, Dak was a rookie. It was that simple. If Romo was 27 years old, there i sno way in hell Dak would have kept that job.
This only matters to a poorly run organization. You play the better player, period. It doesn't matter whether one is on the sunset years of his career and the other is at the dawn point of his. You don't make dumb decisions because of "chemistry", riding a win streak, the hot hand, or because the head coach has an ego and couldn't stand the fact that Romo was keeping the team pseudo-relevant for several years because of the talent level and he knew Xs and Os better than the head coach.

I wonder what happened to the "when the defense figures out the new kid" theory
