Texas · WR · Junior
There are several positions the Cowboys can target here, including defensive tackle, but that position is deep this year, and Golden gives them an immediate starting option at receiver.

The one thing about Golden's production is that Ewers isn't good at all. Watching this below, you see how many times he's got 2-3 yds separation on these deep routes and Ewers just completely botches the throw. Sometimes it's uncatchable, other times Golden still makes it work:

Valid - but you could say the same thing for Tmac and he had like 3K yards over the last 3 seasons.

Tet explosive?
He'll explode for a bunch of TDs for whoever drafts him. Burning speed is important but Tet is more than fast enough. He's bigger, stronger, has way better hands and provides a much bigger target than Golden. It just seems like people are in love with Golden because he went to U of Texas.

Or maybe its because he is better at the most important thing when it comes to playing receiver…Getting open

Short area quickness...yes.

For Dak, small short area quickness type WR is probably is not the best ootion but at 6-4 Tet is a different story.

Tet is not Mike Evans...people should not expect that. Evans is taller with much longer arms and +10 pounds based on pre-draft weight.

Tet has some of the young Dez quickness and fluidity of movement for a big WR. Hopefully Tet is a much better route runner. Dez was all about physical ability and clueless about route running, etc..

Better to trade down (preferably twice) in the 1st, pick up an extra 2nd and/or 3rd & 4th. Pick up tall and super fast WR Dont'e Thornton Jr from Tennessee in the 3rd. Thornton's downfield speed (4.30 40 time) and stretching would help the rest of our WRs underneath. That's not including in the Red Zone thanks to Thornton's height (6'5", 206 lbs) and good hands.

It is really painful watching Ewers throw the ball, can't believe some want to waste a 2nd round pick on him.
