Cooper an OC after being a Cowboys backup QB?

He'll probably pass way too much after abandoning the run, way too early.

It's become a tradition.

I personally think Cooper Rush is the greatest Quarterback in NFL history
Did you forget about the qb from Philly, who then played in Indy for a year and now with Washington who we play next week. I just DC has a plan for him. The guy can do it all. Throw the ball and catch it at the same time. He is the ultimate qb according to some on this board.

Did you know when Cooper Rush went to college, he told his father “You’re the man of the house now”.

Cooper Rush once kicked a horse in the chin. Its descendants are now known as giraffes.

When Cooper Rush does a pushup, he’s pushing the Earth down.

This shows on the field tbh

I do think this is where Rush has an advantage over Dak, but that's not a putdown of Prescott because I think it's where Rush has an advantage over a lot of QBs. He just understands the game. He sees what's going on and makes the right decision. The defenses aren't able to fool him very often.

Again, this was clear about Rush coming out of college, but you didn't know how he would do in games because of his limitations. He's showing that a high football IQ can overcome some of those limitations. Honestly, I don't think anyone was sure of that until now, though, because the opportunities haven't been there due to those limitations.

All that doesn't mean I think he should stay the starting QB. Limitations have a way of catching up with you in this game. But I do think he should stay the starter until they do catch up with him. This week is no big deal if we win with him at QB. If we lose, go back to Dak. If not, though, give him a shot against the Rams to show whether there should be a QB controversy.

No matter how this turns out, I think at very minimum we solved the dilemma of the backup QB long term, which feels pretty great. If it turns out to be more than that someday, even better.

So we aren't imagining it. Rush reads defenses and processes information quickly.

If he didn't, he'd be a dead man because he's not that mobile and he doesn't have a strong arm. His superpower is his brain.

Red-headed backup QB with a future as an OC. Hmm, haven’t seen that one before.

Might as well hand him the HC job once he retires.

Well, the first one was a bit of an imposter. An Ivy League education (based on being able to play football) made it seem like he's smarter than what reality showed us, at least as far as football reality goes.

Serious question. Who is Lance Zierlein?

I guess we now know who the next OC/HC is.

He's a radio analyst and sports commentator operating in the Houston area.

He's hosted sports analyst commentating with various radio networks there.

He's also done extensive work as a sports analyst for NFL.com, additionally.
