I'm with you. I love that they do this. So glad Jason Garrett embraces the past and this salute to Coach Landry is a great way to celebrate a win.

I am not sure if it's Garrett, to be honest. I could be wrong. We didn't see it pre 2014 and Garrett was coach over 3 years before that..he's been in control of the offense for even longer.

It could be a Linehan but more than likely it's one of our OL. Martin or Fred's Dad could've brought it up and their son relayed the message to the group and the team caught on.

Jimmy was the best !!! Grew up with Tom, but Jimmy is the BEST there was, the best there is, and the best there ever wll be !!!! Well at least this side of Bill in North :lmao:
Easy...ole Tom was an innovator and defensive genius that FO's are still learning from. Jimmy was a good coach...never in the same category as a Landry or Lombardi. Johnson was more of a good student.

Well going 8-8 his first 3 years not many games we could just knee the ball. Maybe that could have something to do with it as in 14 we changed our identity to run first

I think somebody posted a link to the Landry shift on this forum or I read it in the history section here. Even the evil lord Bill Belichick talks about having studied under the tutelage of a former Cowboys coaching staff personal in his earlier days, and admits it's far more complex and intricate in detail than what was perceived as Flash and brash showboating,,,
