If they would've lost this comment would not have been made. If any other dline men was able to provide any type of support this guy wouldn't have been as gassed as he was. Hardy was not the problem last night IMO

I didn't see an inconsistent effort. I was more unhappy about his backside contain on the runs. Even then he still hustled his butt off.

I think Lane Johnson is making a big deal about Hardy who still earned a sack on the night. The Eagles are one of the quickest passing teams in the league and this guy is bragging about holding Hardy to 1-sack and now people are eating it up as if he shut him down.

To me, he's not worth the turmoil he creates just by being on the team. But I felt this way the day he signed.

He creates no "turmoil" on the team. If it is "turmoil" in the sense of the media glare that surrounds him, who gives a crap? That's all external to the football team and should mean nothing. If the media is given power to effect the play of a football team, then something is wrong with the football team. They have absolutely no power except in helping form silly, uneducated, public opinion.

Hardy wasn't the problem, but he didn't come through with big plays, either.

I can say that about 10 other guys who couldn't cover tackle sack the QB or force a TO. It's hard to do it all on your own that's for sure.

I'm no rah-rah fan of Hardy's and have repeatedly said I believe he's culpable for his current situation.

Having said that, his legal case was dismissed, his record was expunged, he was out of football close to a year, and he was allowed back in the league after doing his time and not making a big deal about his suspension.

Based on this past week when the photos came to light (surprise, surprise, we now get a look at the photos of his ex-girlfriend's bruises as if we're somehow shocked that that's what happens in domestic violence cases) and based on the immense media scrutiny and criticism, is it any wonder he wasn't mentally distracted?

If you don't feel he needs to be a part of this team, fine. But don't judge him based on this one game, when a perfectly logical reason exists why he wasn't in top form.

I'll cheer for his football success as long as he wears the star, but I never wanted him on the team and wouldn't cry if they cut him tomorrow. And that's not because I think he's a creep. I just don't think he's worth the uproar he causes by being a Dallas Cowboy.

There's not a pass rusher in the league that brings a consistent presence every play. Remember Ware and all the times he'd be standing on the sideline? People complained then, and they'll complain now with Hardy. But I'd venture to guess this is pretty common among double-digit sackers.

Ridiculous. Hardy had an off game and still three tackles and a sack. If someone else could make a play Hardy wouldn't have gotten worn down which clearly was the case. This is D-Ware all over again. Great player, but he'll get worn down playing so many snaps because a lack of depth on the defensive line and nobody else can take pressure off him.
