Lane Johnson: What's the hold up??

Glad the arbitrator/league didn't go soft here.

All the complaining about the Commissioner's Office is pretty biased....they hate us when we fail tests but nothing when other teams lose stars....going after Brady on principle took guts.....they bend over backwards to keep guys out of the drug program but they players are too dumb or lazy to learn how to beat the system.......overall I think they have been very fair with their punishments

The Eagles released the following statement from executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman after the news:

"We're very disappointed that Lane Johnson has been suspended 10 games. His actions have affected the entire organization. We are all working under a clearly-defined set of rules and regulations set forth by the NFL in the collective bargaining agreement with the NFLPA. Moving forward, he has no choice but to hold himself accountable to Jeffrey Lurie, Coach Pederson and his staff, his teammates, and to the entire organization and our fans. When he returns from suspension, we will continue to support him and welcome him back to the team. We are moving on with our preparations for this week's game in Washington."

Now the Eagles might have to shuffle OL around. One more injury to their OL and it can have major ramifications.

I think the Eagles will try to minimize the risk by getting the ball out even earlier.

I'll give them credit for being even-handed, but the punishments often seem pretty severe.
