LaRon Landry calls Roy Williams scared

Antwaan Randle El knows that Roy was just making a business decision. He made one of his own in the same game. Maybe Landry should be more worried about that, and his team's 3-7 record.

Eagles 38 - Commanders 10. You can just about put that on the board.

Landry's an overrated chump...but I think he's right on this one. RW definitely 'gator armed a couple of those passes yesterday...and I hope it's only b/c his ribs haven't fully healed! Being a big WR like he is there's no way he can be fully effective w/ him being afraid to take a hit. Slants and crosses should be to his advantage but if he's shook he's no good to our passing game...

Hey, I just remember the pass over the middle that RW got both hands on......Landry was going to be bringing the lumber.....maybe RW is a little scared going accross the middle?

Hey, I hope RW comes through for us.....however, we have ALL read/seen numerous NFL players say negative things about his abilities.....and where they are smoke.....well.

I don't know if he was scared or not all I know is he did not make the catch. It was high and maybe the shot he took in Denver made him think twice I don't know. I don't put much into the trash that is talked about after games by frustrated players.

Roy Williams is nothing better than a 3rd WR right now, like Berrian in Minnesota. However, he will never work in that role, because Jerry paid him like a champ and he will never accept that type of role because he thinks or himself as a #1 receiver. Therefore, his tenure as a Cowboys is destined to end in ignominy at this point. He could have been serviceable ala Berrian, but Jerry just put too much faith and money into the guy. We are going to have to start over at the WR position soon and that doesn't bode well.

LOL. Landry, who won the game?

Yeah, we won, but not because of any failures by the Commanders DBs. Landry did his job, and Roy did not do his.

Granted Romo's throws weren't very good, and most of the time I would blow off the game Roy had, but Roy's game was more the standard than the exception, so until he starts coming down with some of the more difficult passes he cannot be considered a high quality WR.

RW just blows. He has had his chances in what 18 games now? He sucks,I think he is a goner after this season.

Looks to me like his head is already swiveled to find where Landry is, even as the ball is about to bounce off his hands.

Can't say I blame him a whole lot after the rib shot he took, but still he's gotta make that play if we are going to go anywhere this year. That's what the $9M a year is for.

Roy Williams had cracked ribs, thanks to a high Romo pass; he's playing, but anyone who thinks cracked ribs simply calcify and heal up in a few weeks is dead wrong. He'll go across the middle, but if he has to go up for Romo's high balls, I'm certain he's going to be aware of who's in the area...any receiver with broken ribs would be.

I don't disagree but even without injury nobody will ever mistake RW as tough guy. They should have brought in a free agent receiver for the league minimum (MATT JONES) and placed Roy on IR and let him heal those broken ribs.

I was thinking the same thing as have other posters. RW just looked flat out scared. He's looking we won that game other wise he'd be getting crucified for his efforts. The RW back to Dallas experiment has failed we need to was our hands of this non sense now. RW 0 catches = cowboy win RW leads cowboys in reception = loss. Just say no to RW.

What a great picture. Further enforces my opinion.

well He can say whatever he wants.

I happen to agree that roy has looked like he doesnt want to get hit since the denver game. He looked awful against atlanta, and he definitely didnt want to get hit against GB on that ball in the lights.

Yesterday it seemed like that was the case.

But you know, its the typical sour grapes from the Commanders.

You know, Miles Austin could go tell the media today that Deangelo hall was talking trash all day and shoving him after plays were over and running his mouth, yet he was beaten repeatedly on the most important drive.

But austin wont do it. Thats the difference between us and them.

The little scumbag should be talking to his own wide recievers about being scared, they didn't come anywhere near scoring a TD the whole game.
At least their WR's caught balls.

I didn't check out which Commanders DB failed, exactly - but I would argue that we won precisely because the Commanders DBs failed with the game on the line, even though they had held tough up to that point.

Pretty sure this has nothing to do with his claim. He's right, Roy Williams looked scared as can be. As he looks every single time he gets thrown at with people around him ready to hit him.

It's football. He's big. He thinks he's good. Its sickening watching him, and it sucks even worse because I gained a lot of respect for him after I met him and talked to him last year.

Reason why I ask is because I never hear anything from the opposing team when they win. But when they lose they all of a sudden want to expose the Cowboys. Roy is this. Romo is that. I've heard it before.

I think Tony Romo being able to elude the pass rush is what won us the game. Not the Commanders lacking in the secondary. Of course we made a couple of catches before then but if Romo gets sacked on that TD pass it's totally different.
