If that were true then he wouldn't have been starting.

To me, he was the WORST starting CB for the Boys who was just lucky. Dude he got beat like a drum who lucked up at times...

I was watching one of those top 10 lists this one was top 10 one shot wonders on the NFL network. Larry Brown was 3 I think maybe 4 never this less. He shoudl not have even been on this listed. He played in 3 superbowls had a Ok career. all time leader with Harvery Martin for Ints in superbowls with 3... Yes he had another int in a superbowl other than the 2 vs Pittsburgh. This guy actually had some solid games vs good WR like Jerry Rice. I am not saying by any stretch he was Deion Sanders.. but to be on a list with Timmy Smith and some guys who was QB for the Bengals in the 60's is just stupid.

Larry Brown was decent player who made some plays. So its BS he is on that list. And frankly those that claim he was terrible are FOS.

Just about every player on that list was a decent player who's only remembered for one play or one game. None of them were perennial pro bowlers who had a highlight reel full of great plays. They were all average players who were over shadowed by other players on their teams. They all happened to have that one shinning Clint Longley moment. Larry Brown clearly fit the criteria for that list.

That TD is partly on the defensive coordinator (? Butch Davis) who shouldn't have left Brown in a 1-on-1 situation with Jerry Rice just before the half. You could maybe do that with Kevin Smith but not Larry Brown.

Larry Brown needs to send 1/3 of his salary for the rest of his career to Neil O'Donnell and 1/5 to Brett Favre.

What's funny is that you're trying to support why Larry Brown has three interceptions in SBs while our board historians are trying to figure out who the hell is "Harvery Martin" and how in the hell did he share the interception record with Brown.
