The 2013 draft class for the entire NFL was terrible. I think, as long as injury doesn't come into play, we made out quite well for the 2013 class. Frederick is a legitimate top-10 center for years to come. Williams and Wilcox look like legit NFL starters. Even Escobar is showing some promise as a receiving threat. So if we get 3-4 legit NFL starters and a top-10 player at their position in Frederick, we did quite well.

Once you get out of the 3rd round, picking up quality players becomes harder and harder. We also haven't considered UDFA's which for whatever reason usually get neglected in the discussion. The big thing that stands out is how injured the 2012 class has been. Crawford doesn't play a down this year. Claiborne is injured for most of the year. Johnson has yet to play 1 down of regular season football. The same with Coale. However, during this time we've picked up Beasley, Dunbar, Church and Heath in the UDFA's.

How does Wilcox look like a legitimate NFL starter? What does that make Heath?

I don't disagree with @Yakuza Rich or @xwalker as far as the return-rate that we are getting from the 2009 and 2013 classes. It is the return of the middle class of the other years, as well as the disaster that is Morris Claiborne pick that is hurting us today.

He looked like a legit starter until he got injured. He's also a 3rd round pick and that is about where everybody had him graded at.

Heath is likely a career backup and special teams guy. I just tend to think he's a bit too small and doesn't have the fluid hips to become a legit NFL starter.
