I was at that game too... those two long runs by a couple of washed up backs were so absurd. It was just so deflating in the stadium.
Romo's interceptions were part of the sheer absurdity of the Romo/TO era. It looks ridiculous when it doesn't work but they hit on so many plays from 2006-2008 just like that.
Really miss the Witten seam throw these days... but I don't think that's a throw Dak is capable of unfortunately.

FORTUNATELY... he's also unwilling to mindlessly throw deep into double and triple coverage with the leagues best safety patrolling the area. We've won 8 straight btw.

It did look ridiculous and they never hit on plays like THAT.....not jump balls ...not in stride...not off target...in triple coversge...

He's not unwilling, he's incapable. He's a game manager. The team has won 8 straight btw.

Perfect so his efficiency and intelligence renders him incapable of throwing mindlessly into triple coverage. The stats and comeback wins don't mesh with your "game manager" rhetoric. His yards per attempt say otherwise. Btw...we have the best record in the league.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Wait, so the thing now is that Prescott is a game manager.

Since Romo had all these inferior teams, what stopped him, Garrett and everyone else from doing the same?

No, you do not understand. Romo never has any talent around him except for 2014. Never. Ever. He is the modern day Archie Manning.

Alex, that's a little disingenuous. Don't be a meanie.

And LACES OUT! :)

Only thing is, is that Witten has been getting a lot of those seam throws from Dak. As a Romo diehard, Kazuya is off on that one
He is throwing to Witten a lot but it is dink and dunk. Those vertical throws to Witten are part of what made Romo a hundred million dollar man. High degree of difficulty.

You mean that game where he was left completely uncovered repeatedly? Some of us watch the games and not the box score. Back under your rock troll.
Lol now it's Daks fault he throws to the open man. How about this, go look at the 2014 stats from Witten first 9 games and have a nice tall glass of ****

What the hell was Romo doing on that first int? Throws like that is what angers me when people act like we never put good players around him. That was a winnable game

And what was Dak doing throwing that terrible INT in the end-zone? Everyone throws bad INT's. Dak will have plenty more. And that won't make him an overrated / horrible QB.

Man watching that brought back bad memories. It's funny how the names and people change but Witten and Romo still remain. Witten has been doing this forever. Makes you really appreciate him. But Romo had a bad game that game but that run defense didn't help him out. Romo didn't help out the defense with 2 interceptions but he got it within 2 points until the run defense was blasted again for a long TD run the seal the deal.

that game looked like a bad performance by everyone besides Witten, Crayton and Owens. I forgot we signed Zach Thomas.

Watching that got me more excited for tomorrow's game. I hope we destroy them. Moreso than usual

That was Romo's third year starting and 5th year in the league.
