Cowboys trade down with San Francisco as their top prospects are gone and want to add picks in this deep draft.

Dallas sends picks 18 and 151 to San Francisco. San Francisco sends picks 31, 62, and 124 to Dallas. Trade valued at D-931 SF-932.

Cowboys have 4 picks in the top 80.

31- Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
47- Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
62- Philip Thomas, FS, Fresno State
80- Brian Schwenke, C, California
114- Stepfan Taylor, RB, Stanford
124- Dallas Thomas, OG, Tennessee
171- Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado

I have no problem with your draft but if we trade down that far in rd 1 we can't do it for equal value

We better get premium in return or don't do it

This would be a bad trade IMO

Excellent draft. I really like Schwenke and Dallas Thomas would be a 2nd rounder if not for injury. Actually, I like all of the players.

My biggest concern would be Kawann Short's reported work-ethic issues. If those issues were overblown by the media, then I think Short will get drafted before #47. If he really does have issues, then I don't think that the Cowboys would draft him.

I'd prefer not trade down that far, but you did make the trade legit....though usually teams trading up pay slightly less (contrary to what some seem to think)

More importantly is that if you could get all of those players at those draft slots, I'd be a really solid draft

I really like it wouldn't complain but don't be surprised if they grab a WR and OLB if they do indeed trade down. Great stuff!
