Considering that Jason Garrett has now been directly involved with some of the worst and most embarrassing losses in Cowboys history.

He's had a hand in 44-6 against Philadelphia, 34-3 against Minnesota, 45-7 against Green Bay and now 34-7 against Philadelphia.

As the head coach or assistant head coach for all four losses, he holds just about as much blame as anyone. He's shown a knack for not getting his team, or unit, prepared to play these big games and it's now happened enough that I can't just call it a fluke.

Watching this team get absolutely anihilated on national tv is entirely too predictable.

Isn't it?! We're good for at least one of these games a season.

Of course, five of those are from when he inherited one of the worst teams in Cowboys history.

For every Jimmy Johnson, there are 10 mediocre coaches who get blown out and never win a Superbowl to make up for it.

So, until Garrett wins a Superbowl he's one of those 10 mediocre coaches, not Jimmy Johnson.

Didn't you get the memo?

Garret good, Jerry Jones bad. Get with the program here. Any and all credit goes to Garrett. Any and all blame goes to Jerry Jones.

The Garrett lovers will have it no other way. They pined for their Boy Genius to get the job all last year even though he was a (the?) major part of the problem.

Too bad for the Garrett butt-kissers that they don't have Wade to blame anymore.

Really...........I bet you will be hard pressed to find any HC who has not had a night like Dallas did last night.

It's not that Garrett is good, necessarily. It's simply that it's impossible to accurately gauge the true abilities of any head coach within this dysfunctional organization.

We threw Bill under the bus.

Then we kicked Wade down the stairs and out the door.

Now we're lighting the torches and hoisting the pitchforks for Garrett.

Where does it end?

DoubleWing,

Are you wearing your Norman Einstein costume? I ask b/c this is a stone cold genius analysis.

Yeah, especially that idiot Parcells. He sure left the cupboards bare.

Haha this is convenient. People really do not know anything about football if they're trying to claim that the 89-91 Cowboys were similar to this current unit.

Easy to ignore the facts. It happens, it happened to the Patriots last year. It happened to Landry, it happened to Cowher, it happened to Lombardi............it happens. It's CONVENIENT to ignore when you have an agenda.

There's a 1992 blowout loss to the Lions on that list, if you care to read.

I think something good happened at the end of the 1992 season but I can't remember.

His failure to use 3 pro bowl caliber receivers in Witten, Austin and Dez is simply inexcusable. His job should be on the line these next few weeks. There are too many good head coaching candidates out there right now to just sit here and hope this Ginger clown figures it out.

The best part of this dumb argument from you guys is that those losses actually led to the demotion of David Shula from the OC position.

Jimmy went with Norv Turner after two seasons of these types of losses. So anyone drawing similarities between the two just unintentionally stated that Garrett should be relieved of his OC duties. Good job.

There is another constant in all the blowout losses of recent seasons.

I hate to admit it........ but I have been a fan the entire time.

That's right. I am the reason we get blown out like this. I haven't put the players, through my fandom into position to succeed.

-Never mind that Jerry has been here the entire time
-Never mind that many of the players have been here the entire time
-Never mind that other coaches have been here the entire time
-Never mind that Garrett doesn't run the defense giving up 44 in Philly (one of the game you cite)

I have to counter your one man argument, but telling the truth. I AM SPARTACUS... I mean the reason we have been blown out so many times.

Now, if I would have had you or Cochese, or Wahoo, for the offensive coordinators for my favorite team, I know we wouldn't have been blown out like that.

I know that Philly would not have put 44 on us, because YOUR offense would have wiped the field with them. You would have called long passes instead of short ones, and short ones instead of long ones, and you would have run when we passed and got stopped and you would have passed when we ran and got stopped.

So.... I have someone else to blame. I blame YOU. That's right YOU. YOU are the reason we get blown out because you haven't gone to Jerry and offered your offensive genius.

So next time you want someone to blame... blame me... or blame you... because we are the two constants in this entire failure.

David Shula left after the 1990 season. Try again.

Yeah...see above comment.

Jimmy must've had an "agenda" when he fired Shula after these types of losses. It was probably his desire to win a Super Bowl.
