Exactly. I was saying why are they blowing the whistle? If it’s not a fumble you’re gonna get a replay anyway.

Refs are too quick to blow a play dead on a potential fumble. The best they can get is a recovery, and they'll need to use a challenge to even have it reviewed.

Let the play go. If it's incomplete that can be fixed in replay, which happens automatically when there's a turnover.
