I am not worried about a QB as long as Romo is playing.
I do want a quality back up though. That can come from free agency.
I want an impact starters with that first and second round pick.

When the time comes for a new starter the Cowboys can package pics to move up or if their record has them picking that high they can get their QB. He can start instantly and learn on the job. QBs don't need to sit on the bench to become NFL QBs.

Some QB can come in and play right away but many need to learn. Romo certainly benefitted from watching and learning. When your QB is a couple years from being done it's time to get one to me. and I think romo is down to his last 2 maybe 3 years.

So Dallas cant draft somebody later in the first round? Or round 2 or rd3? this yr? Or next yr? It has to be 4 overall? The way the NFL has its rules an average QB can be a good QB in this league now. Theyve marginalized the posistion. Cam Newton was a bad QB with steve Smith had no touch. all of the sudden you cant touch the WR you cant even look at him without a flag now he's a superstar?

One could argue the reason Cam is better now is because he has developed as a player. The rules to me have little to do with it. The rules benefiting the recievers haven't changed much since he's been in the league
