Dez and Austin were both injured for multiple games that season. Robinson was the #2 for most games due to Dez or Austin being out.

Dez played in 14 games in the 2011 season. Miles in 10. I think Jobs is right, he played all three but I'm not going to go with outside more then the slot here. Even if they missed all of those games at different times, that's still only 6 games.

He's cleared by a specialist but he's never getting cleared by an NFL team doctor. Thankfully for him and his family he got 14 million guaranteed on that deal with the Jaguars.

This.

I don't think any team wants to be the one that does him in.

On the surface, WR does not appear to be a need; however, Romo does not appear to be comfortable in the current offense. If a security blanket would help him then it's possible Robinson could do it.

If Robinson is smart, he'll stay away from football. He made about 14M with the Jags. There's really no point returning and risking his health for 800k per year.
That has more to do with his oline, than the WRs, imo.

I still think its possible that his ribs aren't 100%, fwiw, especially since he's gotten blasted a few times since.

I really enjoy and liked LR as a player. With that being said I would sacrifice any type of team boost he would provide for the sake of that man's health. Life over football.

Just really feel the only chance is to outscore people...

I think that is what it's gong to come down to...but the offense is out of sync also. And, it sure would surprise me if they can turn it around.

Garret would be coach of the year if he were to win the division and then the SB...but that is just me kidding myself.

Let's face it...Miles is good to come back for 2 games and get hurt again...

Is Robinson worth a look again? He knows/knew the offense, and worked well with Romo. I believe he is still a free agent.

May not be an option. Maybe be to similar to Williams' role, but he has regressed recently. Bottom line is if this offense doesn't score 28+, the defense will have a tough time stopping anyone.

Thoughts?
I had no idee he had concussion issues. Get well soon, Mr. R.

Can he play DT? Can he rush the passer and stop the run?

LR won't put us over the top and make us contenders. Lets roll with what we got and focus on executing better.

This offense doesn't know he to get the ball to one if the best in the game, Dez. Why get another WR not to throw to?

We already don't use the receivers we have now properly. With the attention that dez receives the slot receivers should be gashing teams across the middle until they have to change the defensive plan.

I loved Robinson and was seriously bummed when we lost him to the Jags. However, signing him does not make sense given his concussions and that WR isn't a problem area for us.

Robinson is a player who has had one good stretch in his career. We got it. Then he started getting injured over and over. Even if he was perfectly healthy is he someone we really should want back?

For the right price, of course we should. But he's not healthy and probably never will be again.
