If you are referring to the 10 mil penalty, Jerry and Stephen didn't do that. They broke no rules and I am tired of hearing this.

He has to wait until FA begins due to the contract he signed last year, so Dallas can't do anything with him until that point.

I have heard they have been in talks with him so hopefully it will be done as soon as we are allowed to

Seriously folks, some of us need to really examine all the available information before posting some of this crap. IT WAS AN UNCAPPED YEAR, supposedly meaning you can do what you want. The league APPROVED these deals, and NOW they cry foul. This is the same B.S. that saw the 'Skins lobbying for a SuperBowl, but were shot down because they couldn't put a roof on their stadium. Yet, the Giants open-air stadium will be hosting a SuperBowl. Hmmmmmmmm.......................

The "Boys can have over $20M in cap room LEGALLY (if they choose) because of the structure of numerous player contracts. If they WANT to bust the bank this year, they could literally use all their cap room and sign Carr/Finnegan, Nicks/Grubbs, L. Robinson, and C. Wells to play C. Again, IF they choose to do so.

Truth is, the executive committee has ruled they did and the sanctions will hold just like suspensions for players are upheld. We are going to lose the money just like players have to pay fines...Done deal.

You are pinning this on Jerry and Stephen when they did nothing wrong. As a matter of fact, teams other than us and the skins violated the salary cap floor but they didn't get punished. Again, if you think this is a Jerry thing you haven't gotten all the information.

Jerry knew beforehand that front loading contracts outside normal bounds would be reviewed and frowned upon by the other cheaper owners. They played russian roulette and lost the gamble. Jerry tried to push the boundaries of the uncapped year and was warned before hand about possible consequences. So sad...Too bad...
