since prostitution is illegal in all but Nevada, it is a crime and certainly not victimless
anyone who is forced to sell their body is a victim
whether it be by force or circumstance
Generally, the average take for a legalized brothel in Nevada is 50% for the house, 50% for the worker. Generally looking at a easy 6 figure income, added strict guidelines are enforced for the health and well being of a "escort" LOL
The issue is when something isn't legalized, all bets are off, and quality control can be spotty at best. Of course the down side is when something is legalized, you have government involvement.
For better or worse throughout the history of man in this world, 3 things you can ALWAYS be certain of that will generate income is booze (AKA drugs, which booze is), gambling and sex.
I've read up on the LT case involving the minor. I do think LT got what he should have gotten per the law and he did not get off due to his name.
Personally I don't think gambling, booze (aka drugs) and buying sex should exist, but I've always considered myself a realist and have more faith in my dogs then men in general.
Ever go into a small gas station and see someone in front of you that shouldn't be gambling taking up 10 minutes of the cashiers time while you wait while they play lottery? No law against that, but there should be. I find it ironic that in the Bible belt NC, they just passed legalize sport betting. Honestly, I feel gambling is just as worse as prostitution.
