I think I (and many others of course and perhaps you too) can just go back 12 months and repost everything I/we said about Wagner and it would still be pertinent today and he would again be my top FA target.
Difference being, now there will be more teams wanting to get him on a one or two year deal.

It wasn't supposed to be. The out in the contract was 2025.

Looks like they will take a 7.5 million cap hit in dead money, which actually isn't bad. They only gave him 5 mill in signing bonus last year and he had some roster bonuses. His deal was mostly base salaries.

Not bad from the rams standpoint
Thats what Jerry needs to do. That was the kind of signing along with maybe one more that could have really helped.

With what money can we sign them both plus others? LVE can kick rocks

Cut Tyron Smith - Save $13.6 million

Cut Ezekiel Elliott - Save $10.9 million

Cut Jourdan Lewis - $4 million dollars

Restructure Zach Martin - Save $9 million Dollars

Extend Dak Prescott - Save $22 million

From -7 million to $50 million in cap. Even if you don’t extend Dak you’re around 30 million with some moves
