I wonder if they did this move instead of the Ramsey one or if they’ll do both

It wasn't supposed to be. The out in the contract was 2025.

Looks like they will take a 7.5 million cap hit in dead money, which actually isn't bad. They only gave him 5 mill in signing bonus last year and he had some roster bonuses. His deal was mostly base salaries.

Not bad from the rams standpoint
The Rams are so hard to watch. They really do suck.

Wait.... I thought everyone wanted Comp picks.

Are we back to ditching Comp picks in favor of old free agents on their last leg?

Or my favorite...are we still doing the ole We Want Comp picks AND To Sign A Bunch Of Free Agents fantasy?

1) Jerry and Stephen to cheap
2) Wants to win so he's not coming here

But yes we should absolutely throw our hates in the ring if Jerry is serious. He would probably love playing with Parsons too

Stephen will probably look at that and how they had to release him as confirmation that the way they do business in Dallas is right.

I always confuse him with Fred Warner. Fred was awesome in coverage in 22.

Cut Tyron Smith - Save $13.6 million ( not an option )

Cut Ezekiel Elliott - Save $10.9 million (check)

Cut Jourdan Lewis - $4 million dollars (check)

Restructure Zach Martin - Save $9 million Dollars (check)

Extend Dak Prescott - Save $22 million (hmm???)

From -7 million to $50 million in cap. Even if you don’t extend Dak you’re around 30 million with some moves
Alright C......let's bring this back down to earth (loll. His average per year with the Rams was only $10M and that was with a dry market for him. In other words, $5-6M may now be his ceiling.
