LB Coach, Commanders HC

I was trying to think about the coaching vacancies left in the NFL. As far as I know these are the only 2 positions left open. Unless Miami, Baltimore or Atlanta still have openings on their staffs that I'm not aware of. I suppose that is possible with Miami since they let the entire staff go and the only hirings we know about are our guys and Henning.

Anyone know which other openings are for sure still needing to be filled?

Anyone know if Mel Phillips the former Miami DB Coach got a job?

Sadly...the Skins HC position is still open. Snyder has so devalued that position -- we may be stuck with Jim feakin' Fassel. And we will be only slightly less of a laughing stock then the Raiders...

I think the Raiders may actually have hired a "new" head coach last week. I think before TC starts, they will have gotten rid of Kiffin and installed Lofton as the HC.

Though something tells me that if he gives that phony "we will make the playoffs guarantee" again his team won't come through and it will be his ***.

And yes -- this has to be the most bungled coaching search since the Jets hired Rich Kotite.

I REALLY thought that the Commanders would have announced a HC by today.

Well, I guess I still have a few hours left . . . .

I also thought that the Giants DC was going to be your new HC. So now, I'm probably 0-2 trying to guess Snyder.

I think Miami is done filling out it's coaching staff. Saw an article on it a few days ago, let me see if I can fetch it..

Put of the problem is Snyder has a staff in place, I'm sure Steve Spags wasn't to trilled with that and on top of that the Commanders have to be getting a bad reputation around the league i.e. Treating Coaches, Salary Cap Problems, Meddling Owner, etc..

I honestly think that Danny Boy read Extremeskins, saw the reaction they had, and got nervous about hiring Fau-sell... but now, nobody else will take the damned job...

Snyder may have helped build up the monetary value of the Skins......but he has totally destroyed the legacy of that proud franchise.

Snyder should get himself an intelligent GM. Then he should give that GM full autonomy, as far as personnel. The only thing the GM would need to come to Snyder for would be money. Allow the GM to build stability with the coaching staff first, then a core group of young players, and then the draft/FA.....Snyder can just sit back, and watch the growth of his evil empire.....

But we all know that will never happen. Napolean needs to have his grubby little paws in every aspect.....leaving the entire franchise grimy and soiled.....

People say that Snyder is Jerry Jr.....wrong. Snyder is Al Davis Jr. At least Al Davis is senile......I have no clue as to Napolean's excuse.
